I'm an old (63) ex collegiate bowler. We lost to Packy's Shockers team in the finals that had Steelsmith, Hromek and Nadeau. There was no shame in losing to that talented bunch. I'm trying to make a return after 20 years. I'm also a lefty at 6'4" and 290. Trying not to fall is the first goal, and I seem to be improving, but I'm still at a plant and throw stage. My ball speed is about 13 mph and not a high rev rate. I'm wondering if I can use this ball on a house shot without it hooking too much. Maybe my ball driller can drill it to be a bit less aggressive. Keep up the good work, Packy! You need to watch the old hockey movie SlapShot. There's a goalie named Hanrahan.

Just got an Artic Vibe last week, 1st game I shot 247. After a 20+ year latoff from bowling, this has been my best game since I staryed bowling again. Bowled a sport league this spring and only averaged 155 (embarrassing for last time I bowled I was aceraging 217). Trying to get caught up on the new technology that is involved in bowling today. Love this ball, and also really enjoying your channel. My wife kind of blames your channel for resparking my interest in bowling that has been dormant for the last 20+ years (military time kept me from bowli g.)

nearly 20 years after it came out I still have the original vibe and it is MY FAVORITE of all time. I have such a wide spread I can throw on it (I generally shoot up the 7) and i've bowled my best games with it. I am thinking of upgrading to a newer vibe just because this one is ancient and really tracked out.

As a new 2 handed bowler I struggle with a low rev rate and I’m varsity for my high school and don’t have my own ball with an average of 187 and your videos honestly help a lot with my approach and how to read a lane and how to adjust for everything

@@Wandamiancrucifixplat That's my struggle. Getting a 12 lb Cypher tomorrow to see what it does. Most of the reactives push me pretty far left and then the ball return gets in the way which decreases speed even more.

Just got my arctic vibe. Threw a 223 right out of the box. (First time I've bowled in 6 weeks, too, lol!) It's my first symmetrical, I've been throwing a black widow 2.0 hybrid and a track theorem. It's definitely rounder than those two, less angular, but goes through the pins cleaner. I think what you said about it being a late game/third game ball is accurate.

Just went 236 tonight in league in the first game with the arctic vibe. I'm right handed and usually play 3-4 boards left with my widow 3.0. Had to move almost center with my feet with the vibe. It's no joke. Great ball

Very interesting video on the Arctic Vibe, but one can only wonder how such a ball would work for those of us who don't throw the ball at 18-20 mph. Love watching Packy throw left AND right handed while striking pretty much at will.

I already have 6 Hammer balls. Black Pearl U-78 45×4×35, 500 Siaair for Sport Conditions.Extreme Envy 45×4×35, 1000 Siaair for Long Oil. Black Widow 3.0 65×4.5×50, 1500 Siaair as a ball up use. Effect 70×4.5×20, 2,000 Siaair for Transition. Hazmat 65×5×20, 3,000 Siaair also for transition on drier lanes. Black Raw 3 3/8 Leverage for late blocks and fried lanes. This Artic Vibe would definately be a good complement especially in my House condition witch is a short 36 foot buffed 39 wet dry difficult condition. We only have two inches of miss room at the break point.Very good video. If it's already given i will buy one for next season. My p.a.p. 5 over 3/4 Up right hander and bowl one handed. YOUR AMAZING !

I've never had a ball drilled pin down but this one I'd be interested to try maybe. This past Tuesday night by Game 3 the house shot had transitioned to insanely dry and even my least aggressive ball I couldn't keep to the right without moving way left which isn't my comfort zone.

Take the arctic vibe and add black to it and you would have the look of the statement solid, but you can also take the arctic vibe and switch the purple for black and you would have the jigsaw. I like the look of it .

I really like the looks of this ball on the shelf and on the lane and the price point is unbeatable. I have the radioactive vibe and it seems to have more continuation than the Arctic vibe. I just got the pearl Outer Limits so this might be a good step down out of asymmetric as the lanes transition. A possible comparison?

This vibe from what I remember is the same formula as the radioactive vibe. Only difference is this one is hybrid and the radioactive is solid.

This ball reminds me of a Hammer ball from 2006ish that was different colors of blue. It had the gasmask core and it moved just like this Arctic Vibe.

Would you recommend this or the highlighter color one which you also called a house shot monster if I recall as a step up. ( I'm only bowling house shot leagues and currently average 185 so I ain't blowing any doors off. But I feel like I wind up muscling the vapor zone too much trying to get more snap on it and I lose accuracy. I Have 6 Hammer Bowling Balls in My Bag. The Radioactive Hammer Bowling Ball is Decent. But I Have That in a 14 Pound Bowling Ball. They Didn’t Have the 15 Pound Ball Available When I First Bought the Ball. I’m Kinda Not a Fan of the Color of the Radioactive Hammer Ball. That Ball Hooks a Ton When I Have Thrown That Ball a Few Times. It Was Too Light. So I’m Gonna Upgrade From the Radioactive Hammer to the Hammer Arctic Bowling Ball That You Have Just Reviewed On. I Love Hammer Bowling Balls. It’s Hammer Time. I Threw a 257 Game With the Dark Web Hammer a Few Months Ago. I Try to Bowl 200+ Every Game. I Bowl at Crofton Bowling Centre and I Like the Lanes There. I Always Try to Throw Around 20 Or 20.5 Board Or 21 and Try to Get it Down Between the 2ND Arrow Or 3RD Arrow

I use to bowl regionals in the south region and bought almost 2 balls a month. Now I haven't bought a new ball in the last 10 years. I also had back surgery a few weeks ago. Doctor told me I couldn't bowl for 3 months. I hope to bowl a couple of pba50 stops and regionals when I turn 50 in 9 years. Miss bowling so much. But these vlogs make me feel like I am still a part of the bowling world somewhat
