This is awesome. The tradition is what makes it so fun to be apart of, even over a video. As much as I love hunting, after losing my Dad 7 years ago, deer camp has gone down to just me. Simply not the same, but love to witness what the tradition really looks like.

Found you guys on Prime and man am I super impressed? I've been hunting better than 50 years and have my fair share of harvest but just watching you guys I couldn't believe the tips that have improved this old senior hunters game! One particular instance was hunting my bean field had one crossing the field about 150 out. I grunted a couple times and got his attention stopping him twice. Then I remembered Zack and his snort wheeze!! Did it and the buck made a 90 degree turn and came straight in on the decoy! Bam! Rewatching the Prime series already watched all the episodes they have listed 🙂

I hope one day THP makes a video and titles it “Colin’s redemption”. To pay homage in short story form to a man beaten down by the allusive North American whitetail. Like every great movie the hero rises up and seizes the day. 😂 I really thought he was going to get one this year.

I love these videos. I live in NORTHERN California and grew up pushing the brush and being the dog. This brings back lots of memories of those days. We have lost many of our core group and family from those days but sure do miss it. The end of the video is what is all about. Time spent in the woods with family and friends (which for the most part the friends can be considered family) is what it is all about. To be honest I think back to all the childhood memories and think about those who are no longer with us and it brings a tear to my eye not just for all the time, good times and stories we made but I miss every one of them. Keep up the good work and enjoy everyday. Don't ever stop making the memories.
