2020 Marks my 50th year of bowhunting. I have hunted in my home state of Missouri plus Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota and Georgia. I don't say this to glorify myself. I say this to make the point for reference when I say that this bow hunt is by far the most impressive hunt I have ever witnessed in real life or on video. To stay in contact with a big buck for two days and make the moves that you did to make this happen is beyond words. Congratulations Aaron on not only a tremendous buck but more importantly on an epic hunt. Well done.

Your Dam right. The editing sometimes make it seem easier than what it is. To pinpoint a buck like that and get in and setup stands without bumping him is a feat all in itself. Let alone to actually climb down and make a move undetected and stick him. That buck never knew they were there either.

Amazing skills? He took a quarting towards shot, got saved by a limb and took running after the deer immediately after the shot. You must be a gun hunter.
@TheCoolwhipped4 жыл бұрын
@@scottrose7728 well you're obviously not a bow hunter. 10 yards and you're on the ground in the open, you're taking that shot. And when you see that hit, you too are going to take off over the ridge to see where it goes. Quartering to shots aren't bad. The problem with them is that people aim where they practice on foam targets and not at the heart or lungs, so you end up with a bunch of single lung/ liver or gut shot deer. This took incredible skill and situational awareness to know to get out of the tree and circle downwind to get to inside 15 yards on a mature, public land buck.

Agreed....should take bets on what part of state they'll be hunting....there's A PILE of public here in PA...but there's also the most hunters and we're not exactly a "booner" state...but killers kill

@@johnnyjarrett8166 Amen. Im spoiled in Western PA but I also put the work in so I never feel too lucky about my success. Blessed but not lucky. Haha. Killers do indeed kill.

I’m up in NE Pa at the moment. Deer everywhere! They call them lawn carp bc there’s so many, literally just hang out in ppls yards. Bunch of big bucks too.

Awesome video! Just got some THP merch in the mail this week. If you all haven’t gotten any I would recommend you order some goods! Great products and shipped within a couple days to south fla. Thank you THP! 👍🏼👍🏼

I let one walk last weekend because he was between two small trees with a couple limbs slightly hanging down in the way. I may have been able to squeeze a killing shot off at 10 yards but I am glad I let him walk. Thanks for all the Ranch Fairy info this summer and then showing how a Plan B arrow works! I am now shooting an "Adult Arrow" Thanks Again. Great hunt guys!
