It is such a wonderful feeling to get bits and bobs repaired and functional...and the truck is more than a bit or a bob. Glad it is back "on the road". Lovely to meet Bee's Aunt and Uncle. They look like very cheery folks to have around and so helpful. How fortunate that Ed is a mechanic and could identify and correct the issue with the truck. The sladder looks great. As for Ricky, he is a real workhorse. Just set to, and gets it done. God Bless. Dear God, You know Bee and Theo, and those closest to their hearts. You also best know all the needs. AMEN

I “watch” a lot of KZbin videos while doing something else, but I find myself watching yours with my complete attention. I’m not a woodworker, or a carpenter, or a back-to-the-lander… but I love to watch Bee sand, or Theo explain how to cut an angle, or Bee with her chickens, or Theo on his tractor…. The pacing of your videos is perfect, you are both so engaging, and it’s wonderful to see this beautiful home emerge from rubble. I love how much care you take with each small detail. I love the playfulness and affection between you. I just love you guys!

Honestly you two, your enthusiasm is so infectious it makes me smile the whole time I watch your vlogs. How fantastic to have your Aunt and Uncle staying and that Uncle Ed could fix the truck. Theo did you say Bee diagnosed the problem that is most impressive. I can do all the woodwork in my van but wouldn't have a clue what's under the bonnet probably be a good idea to learn a bit really as I am going on a 4mth trip to some remote country in our Kimberley region soon here in Western Australia. I use a Berkey, but with the added heavy metal filters (we have arsenic in our water, at just below allowable level but yuck, I don't want to keep drinking arsenic water!!). I've been very happy with that combo, but have seen recent claims by ZeroWater that they beat Berkey in several areas.
@mamacat3152 жыл бұрын
@@imgoodru2840 In my experience, well water was tested yearly but that was for a public water supply. For a private well, the frequency of testing is up to the discretion of the owner. It is not cheap to check for many components. If the well is not subjected to runoff or other intrusion from local sources, one could assume frequent testing isn’t necessary. It is solely up to the owner and their personal concerns.

It is clled a ships ladder. You can use steal gas pipe to put rails on the ladder. It re enforces the ladder and gives a detail which will match the cast iron stove. On top of giving you hand holds. Steps you may find paddle shaped will work for you best.

The sladder will look so good! Will you be doing halfsteps? I really recommend them! One side of the step is bigger so that the foot has more space to step on and the other side is narrower so you don´t hit the step when you are walking up or down. My boyfriend had a sladder like that in his old appartment, and it was great to walk on 😊

@jessicasturm50992 жыл бұрын
I‘m not a big fan of having the ladder in the middle. It bothers me a lot (OCD style). I think it will hinder the view and is an eye sore when you enter the room. The ladder will block the view on the beautiful sofa and the nice table. It’s also not very practical if they want to have a dining table in the room. If the ladder would be near the stove it wouldn’t hinder the view and would leave more room for a table. Just my thoughts. But in the end it doesn’t matter what I think looks best, they have to live in there not me.

They used pieces of driftwood for the base of the redwood tables & it really improved their look. Every one is unique & a one-of. So you guys should keep your eye out for driftwood or some root balls from fallen trees that you can affix to the bottom of your wood slab.
