I'm so happy that you're not going to house your goats in that hot box for the summer. You both are so kind, I couldn't imagine that you would expect them to be in the horse trailer. Beautifully done Q & A video! I love how many of your answers were right where you could Show the item in question! So creative! The Well is beautiful and I do not remember seeing it before.... The trees and lovely grass on your property show the reason you were attracted to it in the first place, to say nothing of the barn that is quickly becoming a very cozy home! I am not sure I have ever known a couple that works so well together and appear to agree on the artistic style so well. Thank you for sharing everything you bring to us! :)

Do you ever regret not winning the property in Alaska? I personally think you're better off in Portugal. (I also live in Portugal, so I may be biased). 😜 But your property also seems WAY more habitable than the other. Alaska would be nice to visit, and a beautiful place to do a reality show. But I think long term living that far off the beaten track would have been pretty intense.

Bea, here is a great recipe for gluten-free rolls that have that nice “bread” texture and are so easy. Brazilian Cheese Bread 1 egg 1/4 cup olive oil 2/3 milk (nut/oat milks work) 1.5 cup tapioca flour 1/2 cup cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp salt Preheat oven to 400F. Grease a muffin pan. Combine all ingredients in a blender, pulse until well blended, scraping down the sides as needed. Pour into the muffin, divide evenly between all. Bake for about 20 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool for 2 minutes, serve immediately. 🙂

I'm in Northern Australia. I have rooftop solar - 6 kWh. 24 panels. But no battery - I'm grid feed. I run air-conditioning, a pool filter and a washer/dryer combo unit. My last power bill was a $49 credit!. During a Northern Australia summer!. My house is also well insulated. I find that I don't need the Ac during the day, I can get by on fans with open doors & windows. Even some nights I can do sans ac, just the fan. The biggest cost with solar is if you want battery storage for nights/cloudy days.

I seems to me that the Barn is quite insignificant when you step into the rustic beauty you have created. It takes my breath away to see all your creative ideas and mastery in the incredible home you have made. Hi guys I love your videos...your my favorite. I wanted to share with you about my solar system. I'm a 56 year old single female who did a lot of research. I wanted to try living off grid in Florida. It worked and I had an air conditioner, fridge, microwave," limited use" only when it was sunny or had plenty of battery power. But it worked great!! I used the 3000 growatt all in one system. I paid about $700 for that it works amazing...highly recommend it. It is capable of allowing my generator to charge the batteries if need be. But most of the time I didnt have to. I had six 320 watt solar panels that kept my system toped off. I had a total of 8 solar panels. The other two typed off my portable eco deltas. One panel for each delta. It worked great as I had one in my camper and one in the cabin. They are only about $800 and could run a blow dryer, microwave, pretty much whatever I needed. Also I wired a 30 amp plug on my cabin to plug my RV into. This system would run my window air conditioning and my RV air conditioning. If it was sunny...no problem. Of course the batteries is where the expense was. I had three 100 amp hour lithium plug and use. That was $2600 all together I paid about $6000 U.S. The batteries are where to put your money. That will make the most difference for you. Great to see you guys doing so well. God Bless You all ..I'm praying for you both and your animals.
