Put a better exhaust on it and please see if you can take the catalytic converter off on it , i have one and it restricts the exhaust ,i took it off along with the stock muffler then dynoed it and it literally picked up 1.5 hp which isnt alot but for a 125cc its better than nothing also jetted the carb to be richer ,they have it lean from the factory

I worked at a metric bike shop for a while that sold all the name brands plus the cheap Chinese pit bikes and 250cc sport bikes. The 250 bikes were like $2500....and they were junk. The electrical systems sucked, quality control sucked, the steel was cheap and rusted easily. They looked cosmetically good on the showroom floor....but problems quickly started. You're much better off buying a used Honda, Kaw, or Yamaha 500-600cc bike for the same price. I bought a used Kawasaki 600 for $1600 with 10k mi on it, and have had it 10yrs now. Don't waste your money on disposable Chinese bikes.

I like disposable chinese dirt bikes. I live in Mexico and ride an Italika DM200 it hasn't failed they come with a 2 year guarantee. I'm going on my third. And my old ones still run I buy a new one every 3 years. I just don't like buying tires and for 1400 dollars for a new enduro bike you can't go wrong. I also have a Kawasaki and Suzuki but they are cruisers. Smaller Enduros are perfect for cobble stone roads, off road and lane splitting on small Mexican roads. Top speed sucks at 120kmph but that's good for a 200cc bike and I'm 220lbs poor bike. I beat the shit out of them and can't break them. They are super cheap to fix too

You need to replace that fuel lock and filter. Buy the one in which filter is built into lock. Also its a new bike. You literally need to tighten all the nuts and bolts. Give it some run for 500km slow rpms then change oil and break pads. Then you are good to go. That's what you have to do with Chinese bikes. Once youve done it they gonna be beast in their class. Also put a custom exhaust.

I have been using my Chinese 125 almost daily for 3yrs in the UK. I have had little trouble with it, just tidied it up a bit. It ran better after I cut the cat out of the exhaust (silly EU regs)I upgraded the tyres, but that is more a reflection on my riding than the bike. I bought it because my GP convinced me that I had Parkinsons, so I bought a lightweight. When I finally found out that I hadn`t, I decided to keep it because by then fuel prices had gone through the roof, at 100mls to the gallon it has saved me a fortune. As standard it was whisper quiet so I took a couple of baffles out, because a couple of times I had to break hard for smartphone zombies in town, this also pepped it up a bit. All in all a very good little bike

@The Inja Some facts I thought you'd appreciate regarding 13:20. Octane is calculated differently in different parts of the world. Some countries use RON (Research Octane Number) and some combine RON with MON (Motor Octane Number) and takes the average of this. ("R+M/2 method" is even written on some pumps) which is the Anti Knock Index (AKI). This is a bit lower than the RON number but it's the same quality. China use the RON calculations so the manual asked you to put in a minimum of 86 Octane US gas. Here in Sweden we only got two options, the lowest one we have is 95 octane, which would be 90-91 in the US. And the 98 octane (94 US). And they cost $6,50-$7 per gallon (converted) :S

Fuel requirement is likely on the RON Octane rating which is what the majority of the world including China uses. The US and Canada use the AKI (Anti-Knock Index) instead. 91 RON is equivalent to a 87 or so AKI.

I bought a 250cc from a guy who got it from Amazon as something to ride to work in the summer to save on fuel. I have a 87 mile round trip commute to work everyday so in an area full of mountains. It's not the fastest thing at climbing hills or steep inclines but it gets the job done and I gave the guy $400 for it and I have had it for about 3 years now and it has served me well and saved me about a $1000 a year in Fuel since my regular truck is a 4 wheel drive for our snowy and icy winters in the mountains. But I have been pleased with it but a 125 might be a little too small to keep up with even small town traffic.

If you treat it right and don't run it with the accelerator wide open everyday it will last. But if you ride it hard going 100MPH everywhere it might not be the best option. Its 250cc so its a bike made to ride the speed limit and be a utility. But its cheap on fuel and in my experience it has been a really nice purchase for me. Basically this bike is made for looks but if you treat it rough it probably won't last very long. I ride mine like an old man LOL

The reasons they want you to use 90 and above octane is because a high octane gas needs a higher temperature or ignition to burn, this engine is air cooled, so its gonna get hot, really hot, so if you use 87 octane gas you may experience pre detonation, and pre detonation will destroy a engine

We purchased one of these off Amazon also. We removed all the tins, filters, and every bolt (almost). We tightened everything down to torque specs with Medium Loctite, touched up all solder joints, replaced some hoses and clamps, made adjustments to cables, brakes, clutch, bleed the brakes. We also added rubber gaskets to help reduce vibration. It only took a weekend to complete everything and do another start up. After break in it would top out around 65 mph with me 225 pounds on board and we have had only one problem. That was the carburetor. After a cleaning and deburring the problem was fixed. Makes a great camp site bike, pits bike, and run for a coffee bike. Not for touring but a good cheap little run around bike that is fun to ride.

Yea, it seems like a good little bike for around town here. Everything is 10 mins away driving and it beats WALKING anytime 😂 I'm recently single as of 10 months ago, so I don't have a wife or step daughter to lug around or take to work / pick up anymore. But i do need some wheel asap 😕 figured this would help me out some until I can stack some cash for a proper car since she cleaned me out and took the family car. Ps. The family car went to $ht on her about a month after she moved out. She was on the side of the road, got scared, called a tow truck, guess he had pitty on her, took it to her other brothers house where she doesn't live, gave him MY address for billing instead, stiffed the guy out of $300+ for towing, and rhey sent a certified letter to my house, I declined it and said she doesn't live here I can't sign for that. Never feel sorry for women. EVER..

This looks like a great alternative as a first bike for a teen son/daughter (said at the start of the video). After watching the while video, not really. Good for any enthusiast willing to wrench on it. A novelty bike at best. I can't see having one of my kids on this thing knowing that at any moment I'll get a call that they are stranded somewhere and I'll have to get them home.

Really enjoy the videos. Keep up the good work. Now for the bike. I ordered mine about a year ago. Except mine is the red one. I ordered it from Powersport. Took 8 day for delivery. I have 1200 miles on it already. The only thing I've done is changed the oil and added a front sproket with 2 more teeth. That made a big difference.I get 63mph. I use the bike to commute to work, round trip is 17 miles. I get 97mpg and fill up the tank with 7 dollars. Oh yeah. i also live in California. I love the bike. The con of the bike is the fairings. Either wise the bike is solid. Any ways hope to see more videos. I hope you do the 200cc . I know Beards and bike (SRK )did a video on it.

@@carrickdubya4765 I bought a Honda VT250F for $1000 AU. The muffler fell off on the way home but I got six months of use out of it before electrical issues saw me offload it to a wreckers. Got a fantastic 2011 Ninja 250 for $2000 and had no issues at all and it was an easy DIY air and oil filter change, clutch cable adjustment and short levers mod. When life treated me well I rode a Triumph Street Triple 2013 and modded it with a single headlight, a Triumph rear set foot peg kit, a Street Triple R Front brake master cylinder, shorty levers, anodised front and rear brake reservoirs and crash knobs. **** beautiful bike but yeah, life throws curve balls and now I'm back on a Japanese bike (Suzuki SV650s 2003) which I bought for $3700 - I think a decent price for 30 thousand Kilometres on the clock. It came with two new tyres, new chain, new bars and levers and yeah, a few scratches but I sure appreciate the torque and engine reliability. Needs some exhaust baffles though.

My first bike was a Lifan 200cc/single cylinder sports bike that redlined at 32mph and topped out at 60mph. The problems started after the break-in period. At one point the motor wouldn’t turn over and something was just buzzing in the motor when I tried to turn it over. A bolt head snapped off from one of the casings on the motor and I could never get the bolt out in order to change it. That’s just my experience.

11:23 Why would you arbitrarily loosen the chain, without first kicking it up on the center stand, lubing it and rolling in the chain and sprockets first? In my experience, installing new drive chains at proper tension and driving away, always, always, ALWAYS results in a clonky chain dragging on the swing arm within a couple of miles and there goes that Sunday ride. Ignore it and rev it instead and you're going to unevenly stretch one section, when the drive train snatches up, or worse, you'll spiral bend sprocket teeth, or straight up remove them and those snaggle tooth's will grab at your chain until they finally break off. If you don't have a center stand, lean it over on the kick stand with the rear tire up and really spin it for a few minutes, then re tighten it.

Do a nuts and bolts on it and see how everything is mounted. All that plastic is probably rattling around and everything is mounted poorly so your getting vibrations. I spose you should be able to adjust the timing and carb to get it running much better when you figure everything out. The idea of getting a better carb might be good and I bet you have enough spare parts you could probably swap something on to see if it's happier down the road.
@rt2255

If it is 0lastic ride a bit remove look at back of panels, you will see scuff marks where.it is vibrating. Get some thin foam tape at lows or home depot, it os foam with sticky side. Mount to scuff spots it will silence it. Dod this on older 600 ninja at about 50k miles as panels had been on and off hundreds of times for maintenance. Oh to tighten screws with out twisting and cracking mount holes apply some oil around holes so screws can tighten without grabbing and twisting plastic.
