I worked at a metric bike shop for a while that sold all the name brands plus the cheap Chinese pit bikes and 250cc sport bikes. The 250 bikes were like $2500....and they were junk. The electrical systems sucked, quality control sucked, the steel was cheap and rusted easily. They looked cosmetically good on the showroom floor....but problems quickly started. You're much better off buying a used Honda, Kaw, or Yamaha 500-600cc bike for the same price. I bought a used Kawasaki 600 for $1600 with 10k mi on it, and have had it 10yrs now. Don't waste your money on disposable Chinese bikes.

I like disposable chinese dirt bikes. I live in Mexico and ride an Italika DM200 it hasn't failed they come with a 2 year guarantee. I'm going on my third. And my old ones still run I buy a new one every 3 years. I just don't like buying tires and for 1400 dollars for a new enduro bike you can't go wrong. I also have a Kawasaki and Suzuki but they are cruisers. Smaller Enduros are perfect for cobble stone roads, off road and lane splitting on small Mexican roads. Top speed sucks at 120kmph but that's good for a 200cc bike and I'm 220lbs poor bike. I beat the shit out of them and can't break them. They are super cheap to fix too

You need to replace that fuel lock and filter. Buy the one in which filter is built into lock. Also its a new bike. You literally need to tighten all the nuts and bolts. Give it some run for 500km slow rpms then change oil and break pads. Then you are good to go. That's what you have to do with Chinese bikes. Once youve done it they gonna be beast in their class. I have been using my Chinese 125 almost daily for 3yrs in the UK. I have had little trouble with it, just tidied it up a bit. It ran better after I cut the cat out of the exhaust (silly EU regs)I upgraded the tyres, but that is more a reflection on my riding than the bike. I bought it because my GP convinced me that I had Parkinsons, so I bought a lightweight. When I finally found out that I hadn`t, I decided to keep it because by then fuel prices had gone through the roof, at 100mls to the gallon it has saved me a fortune. As standard it was whisper quiet so I took a couple of baffles out, because a couple of times I had to break hard for smartphone zombies in town, this also pepped it up a bit. @The Inja Some facts I thought you'd appreciate regarding 13:20. Octane is calculated differently in different parts of the world. Some countries use RON (Research Octane Number) and some combine RON with MON (Motor Octane Number) and takes the average of this. ("R+M/2 method" is even written on some pumps) which is the Anti Knock Index (AKI). This is a bit lower than the RON number but it's the same quality. China use the RON calculations so the manual asked you to put in a minimum of 86 Octane US gas. Here in Sweden we only got two options, the lowest one we have is 95 octane, which would be 90-91 in the US. And the 98 octane (94 US). And they cost $6,50-$7 per gallon (converted) :S

It's not the fastest thing at climbing hills or steep inclines but it gets the job done and I gave the guy $400 for it and I have had it for about 3 years now and it has served me well and saved me about a $1000 a year in Fuel since my regular truck is a 4 wheel drive for our snowy and icy winters in the mountains. We tightened everything down to torque specs with Medium Loctite, touched up all solder joints, replaced some hoses and clamps, made adjustments to cables, brakes, clutch, bleed the brakes. We also added rubber gaskets to help reduce vibration. It only took a weekend to complete everything and do another start up. After break in it would top out around 65 mph with me 225 pounds on board and we have had only one problem. That was the carburetor. After a cleaning and deburring the problem was fixed. That's a Lifan 125cc engine. I used to have one in a bobber I built. You can easily find on ebay big bore kits with a cylinder and piston to take it up to 140cc. Doesn't sound like much of an upgrade but I definitely got a few more mph on the top end. Well worth it.
@lewisgarner48972 жыл бұрын

@egyptwns89_262 жыл бұрын
My first bike was a Lifan 200cc/single cylinder sports bike that redlined at 32mph and topped out at 60mph. The problems started after the break-in period. At one point the motor wouldn’t turn over and something was just buzzing in the motor when I tried to turn it over. A bolt head snapped off from one of the casings on the motor and I could never get the bolt out in order to change it. That’s just my experience.

It's not. Fuel flows from the outside of the element, through to the center. That way the grit is on the outside and you can see if it is dirty. If you look close you can see there is an arrow on the side, which is correctly pointing in the direction of flow.

11:23 Why would you arbitrarily loosen the chain, without first kicking it up on the center stand, lubing it and rolling in the chain and sprockets first? In my experience, installing new drive chains at proper tension and driving away, always, always, ALWAYS results in a clonky chain dragging on the swing arm within a couple of miles and there goes that Sunday ride. Ignore it and rev it instead and you're going to unevenly stretch one section, when the drive train snatches up, or worse, you'll spiral bend sprocket teeth, or straight up remove them and those snaggle tooth's will grab at your chain until they finally break off. If you don't have a center stand, lean it over on the kick stand with the rear tire up and really spin it for a few minutes, then re tighten it.
@jothain2 жыл бұрын
I've never ever seen bike without kickstand protection. You can't run engine on gear if it's on kickstand. At least here in Europe.
@aardque2 жыл бұрын
@@jothain Thanks for the trip down memory lane. Cafe style sport bikes are sold without center stands in the States. Most sport riders remove the ones that remain, because they touch pavement and unweight the chassis in extreme turns.

The key is I have found for my 200cc scooter anyway I changed the oil every 500 mi. Is it still runs great everything still looks good new. Just exhaust system sucks
@69Dartman4 жыл бұрын
Do a nuts and bolts on it and see how everything is mounted. All that plastic is probably rattling around and everything is mounted poorly so your getting vibrations. I spose you should be able to adjust the timing and carb to get it running much better when you figure everything out. The idea of getting a better carb might be good and I bet you have enough spare parts you could probably swap something on to see if it's happier down the road.
@rt22552 жыл бұрын
If it is 0lastic ride a bit remove look at back of panels, you will see scuff marks where.it is vibrating. Get some thin foam tape at lows or home depot, it os foam with sticky side. Mount to scuff spots it will silence it. Dod this on older 600 ninja at about 50k miles as panels had been on and off hundreds of times for maintenance. Oh to tighten screws with out twisting and cracking mount holes apply some oil around holes so screws can tighten without grabbing and twisting plastic.

Differnt countries use a differnt octane rating system then the US. Aki, ron and mon. 95 octane in Japan is (ron) is 90 in the us (aki) and 85 in brazil (mon).
