My dad cleaned the car every Saturday. Because he wanted my mom and I to have a full tank of gas and tire's air up and he ALWAYS did this for us. He wanted us to be taken care off to go to church and errors. They were married 60 years as two months. My dad died. They met. Six weeks later MARRIED right after W.W.11 in Germany. They talked about their whole life's. They had RESPECT and LOVE and TRUST for each other. Best Parent's. Thank you my father and mother.

BTW: Did anybody else notice that the tour did not include a bathroom and that nothing was said about running water? Was I the only one who noticed the enameled chamber pot upstairs and no outhouse outside? Gives one pause, does it not? I see rainwater harvesting, root cellar storage and a creek fed retention pond in this property's future. Just sayin....

I'm in Northern California in the mountains where we have these wildfires. I just got home a couple weeks ago after being evacuated in August for over 2 weeks. Half our neighborhood is burned down and one of my neighbors died in this fire. Now we are looking at another one close enough that we need to worry again. Praying it will not make it's way back up here and hopefully will not find the path of what wasn't burned the first time. I've been living with insane fires like this where I live since 2015 (when it all really started). And 100% I agree with you that forests do need to be maintained with logging, controlled burns and grazing. These are things we did in this state many yrs ago. Now our forests are not maintained at all and our beautiful state is paying the price. I do want to move out of state and live in the woods like I do here, but if I buy land like this, it is FOR SURE going to be maintained through logging and grazing (I would use goats and sheep). Look, I love trees more than most people and yrs ago when I was younger I used to be a Sierra Club member, but I started to learn there needs to be a healthy balance. We cannot protect endangered animals and plants when we have wildfires that burn so hot and fast they decimate everything and literally sterilize the forest floor and all those animals and plants we are trying to protect are destroyed.

@@ericslattery8352 Many of us are aware this has to be arson. And know also about some of those arrests. I've been telling people I think it's Antifa and other extreme leftists. At this point after all I have lived through I think arsonists should get an instant death penalty.

Hi Torrence Krepps, here's an idea - Assuming you have no capital at all, grab 4 business friends - your dentist, your banker will know someone, your car dealer, the guy who owns the concrete business in town, the people who own the Hunting Supply business in your town, business people you know, who you do business with - and go in together on it. Have them each come up with $100k = 400k. then any lender here will give you the rest. Harvest the timber, and give them each $125k back within 2-3 yrs when you timber (I am not sure how fast they can log it, but I am guessing 18-24 months). So their capital is returned in 2-3 yrs with 25% interest. Then they each get 10 acres for a cabin and lifetime hunting rights for them, their kids and grandkids. that's 40 acres carved out. Leaving you with 176 acres, the cabin and you have a bank loan for only $250k. When they timber, they cut logging roads in, so now you have trails and all the tops. You can sell enough firewood to darn near pay off the biggest part of that 250k loan. That's just an example of 1,000 different ways you can do it. I’m in California and you re absolutely right, proper “ forest management” this whole stTe seems to be on fire every year now. How much is the asking price for this property?? Can you put a manufactured home on it without much of an issue?? I got to get out of California in he next few months. I have an 800s.f. House in CRmel, CA. It’s apprIsed T $1,000,000. It’s too much xpensuve to stay here. My only concern are the hostile wild life, snakes, mountain lions or coyotes??? WhT dangerous animals is there on the properties you have listed?? I have 2 small dogs. Is why I’m asking. I signed up for your news letter i your website yesterday and today I received an email from you.
@BradSimmons3 жыл бұрын
Hi Randy Rios, yes it is available. Correct, manufactured home = no issues. no mountain lions - yes, coyotes and probably some snakes. But if you keep the lawn mowed, the snakes won't come to the house. And a Great Pyranese (sp) will keep all predators away for sure. bluegrassteam.com/debt-free-off-grid-log-cabin-self-reliance-homestead-prepping-and-self-sufficiency/

My mind wanders quite a bit but I keep going back to that car you think may be a Desoto. If it is a Desoto, it certainly would be appropriate at a creek, deep in the back woods where shine could be made undetected. I would have to open that trunk to see if some dollars and quart jars are in there. Provenance makes for great story telling at the cabin. Maybe while passing a quart jar around the fire.
