I’ve got my eye out for a reasonably priced vintage Model 25. Great restoration!
@oldtrailertrash49694 жыл бұрын
I enjoyed the restoration project. I just pulled my model 25 out of storage (vintage 1963 - I'm the original owner). It is in great condition but is missing the butt plate. I found a parts gun on Ebay with a good butt plate so I ordered it (it cost more than a $1 but it was less than an arm and a leg). Right after I ordered the parts gun I found a seller with just the butt plate...I couldn't resist...so I bought it. The seller of the parts gun said it was untested but all the parts are there. It looks like I will have a winter project lined up for restoration. No doubt I will be referring back to your video for help. Have a Blessed Day!

I’m trying to figure out the year of a Daisy no 25 BB gun. It says Plymouth, MI, wood stock but there is a painting of a cartoon boy in the wood. I haven’t been able to find any image of it on the internet so I think it’s special to this particular gun. Any idea of how to tell the year. I’ve checked a lot of Google sites and they did not help. Thank you for any insight! And thanks for this video!

I had one back in the day but it disappeared many years ago. I still have the parts card and the plastic stock sold for $1.50 ! The only thing that I kept wearing out was the plunger head which sold for .50

Was that the old abutment washer you forced out with the extension? I tried that and seemed hard to come out . Am I not trying hard enough?

Sorry, I really have no idea. I bought mine for a buck and that's as far as my knowledge goes with this. I know they have produced them for about 100 years so the age and condition of yours would mean everything as far as value.

Soften the stock in boiling water and correct the shape.

Do you offer restoration services ?
@TheJayhawker4 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, I'm always willing to do that. However I always give a disclaimer that I also work full time and have a family so it takes me longer than I would like. Oh I if you want to get rid of gun parts I would be happy to take 'em. Thanks for asking

I thought the Plymouth made had blued barrels. The after 58’s I thought was when they went to painted black.
