I totally agree with the Israeli decision not to show the original Hamas-footage to the world. I actually regret that so much of it was published anyway. It was humiliating for the victims, free 'publcity' for the perpetuators, it probably didn't convince anyone and the lack of sympathy or outrage about it (and the largenumber of mean comments) must have been very painful for the families of the victims. If someone demands 'that amount' of proof before he will even consider believing you, he's not worth of being entrusted with it.

I read a bit more, to make sure I know the context. the explanation was by a group of Physicians that exists mainly to help people of Gaza and WB, but they stepped back to help and document re 10/07 victims who were mutilated and killed were not able to give testimony. Duh! bodies had obvious evidence of sexual mutilation of sex organs but difficult to provide scientific _proof_ that an actual gRape occurred, per standards of evidence, bc other damage was so extreme a bodies with broken pelvises, partly nude, the conclusions both horrific and obvious, but it was insufficient as scientific _proof_ that an actual gRape occurred (like what if the Roadrunner dropped an anvil on the victim who just happened to be stripped partly nude before killed) apparently, testimony by live witnesses who saw _other_ women suffer gRape and physical mutilation, does not count as reports BY surviving victims discussion about whether gRape was "systematic" (aka organized) or simply "widespread" FURTHER, the fact that the published history of Islamic conquest includes gRape of female captives (and boys) going back to 628 and endorsed as correct by Muhammed, who is seen by Believers as The Perfect Man who should be emulated as much as possible.

I think that it was respectful to the victims that Israel did not to show the atrocities, it demonstrated the gentle mentality of the Israeli people, and also their morality and their strength. Thus, these renown school bombings are NOT on children - these are NOT there. These schoolbombings are on Hamas bunkers, hidden in the schools... Last but not least. Hamas stole almost all good cement from civilian usage to make their tunnels. Its really only hospitals in Gaza which are made of good cement, because hospitals are build by foreign sponsors. This means, the common apartament houses are made from inferior cement... And that is why they collapse as soon there is a bomb nearby. So it doesnt pay to try and hide in the cellars. Often killing off whole big families of civilian residents... But hospitals stays untouched although everything around is one big ramble - these are made of normal, standard cement, as said...

Israel won that piece of land after the six day war with Egypt. As for the land as a whole, it was never a sovereign state. It was named 'Palestine' by the Romans in the 2nd century AD. Before that, it was Judea - a kingdom of the Jews. It was just a 'name' to describe the land. At the end of the first world war it was won by the allies from the Ottoman Empire (who sided with the Nazis). Anyone who lived on that land was known as a 'Palestinian', whether they were Jews, Christians, Muslims, Arabs, Druze, Bedouins. It was not exclusively a Muslim country. Just do some research.
