Whenever I use ps5 controller on a game like resident evil revelations the controller layouts is just Xbox and not PlayStation

This happens if you have the Xbox controller ticked, scroll down further and it'll have a driver, uninstall that

this setting seems to help with stick drift issues for ps5 and battle beavers. my controller right stick started looking up on it own and playing around with the steam settings is working to remove the problem.

Hi, I have a question, I accidentally downloaded one of the community layouts and it says "downloaded" and it seems that I can't delete it. I have looked everywhere on the internet and I can't find a solution. I know layouts take a very small space but I still want to be able to remove them. Can you help me? Thanks.

I don't think you can as its hidden in the config files the only option, I have seen is to reset controller but that I don't think that removes layouts. just pick the default layout and accept it

You could probably do a universal one unless the game you play is different example fps to driving may require a new layout

@@ThekappaConvict sorry for late reply, i mean how to change their priority and i figured it out, while in the game(applies only to this game), open steam library, right click on selected game and choose manage, then edit controller or something like this, then press change priority and change it

Ok so figured it out but the issue I'm now having is that it's not letting me choose the layout I want for ats, then when I select the quick action I want and launch the game it doesn't pick both the layour or quick action I had set it to. They really need to revamp this and make it more simple because for months I've been confused and still not fully understanding this.

Hey taking my chance here hoping you can help or someone in the comments. The game i am having issues with is FiveM GTA V. I've changed my layout - it works sometimes on the server but I will comeback later or another day and my controller mapped layout is just not working in game. Checked the layout on steam and its the desired layout but again on FiveM once I launch the game the actual layout is not translating in game. Any help?

Is there a way to have a single button select a weapon then fire it? I am trying to get Gordon Freeman from Half-Life to have melee bit basically so I can just press a button and have him draw the crowbar the attack with the crowbar for as long as the button is pressed.

I am trying to find a couple of keys on my keyboard that work on the controller. I want to slowly crawl the slowest motion possible slightly pushing up on the thumb stick and locking in a up down left and right position on the keyboard so I can essentially get these long pant shots and record them for gameplay KZbin stuff. This is freaking confusing! I'm trying to setup my Xbox controller for stick and move for Dying Light 2. I play a lot of stick and move for COD and I'm used to that controller configuration. Can anyone help? The game has certain restrictions for key binds on controller. So it seems I have to use my controller on Steam as a Keyboard and Mouse. But I'm lost on how to key bind certain action on my controller? Some one help me out, I know I wont be able to do everything but need more information.

hi there, i have a problem with my ps5 controller, when i try to use it in fortnite (pc) for any reason the trackpad/touchpad is not working, it's like binding to options button and when i try to bind edit button to it, basically get cancelled or something, it's completely weird cause in the morning it worked perfectly, i changed to triangle and when i tried to get back to touchpad btn it didnt work, i tried to delete the config file in steam, i used a ps4 controller and the same thing happened, idk whyyy it's super annoying, if someone can help me i'd appreciate it very much

Hey, I'm having the biggest problem. Im trying to use my DS4 controller to play Mafia 1 Definitive Edition. It only has support for Xbox controllers, so naturally I'll use Steam Input. However, I'm noticing that even though the buttons get translated, the Joysticks don''t register at all. I get around the problem by instead of Using Steam Input to make the game think I'm using an Xbox controller, I simply remap the buttons on my PS4 controller and switch the inputs for Keyboard inputs. i.e. Right joystick becomes Joystick Mouse and left Joystick becomes a Directional Pad for WASD Keys. This is alright but now I have to remap every single button to a keyboard button and that just gets confusing especially when there's so many controls and different actions for the same button on my controller. What do I do, help.

Yeah, this "guide" feels like it responds to a Twitter question in the fastest, scriptless, off-the-cuff manner. It's only relevant to his subscribers or people that play PUBG. A video of this title deserves much more care. Steam Input is its own world in an ocean.

Can anyone PLEASE help me? I’ve searched everywhere on the internet for an answer with no luck. I am trying to play bedrock Minecraft on my PC with a wired Xbox controller. However , the sensitivity is CRAZY high . I have changed the sensitivity in actual Minecraft, tried different controllers, different wires , and now this video with changing it on steam and the sensitivity is still CRAZY high. I am beginning to think I can never play Minecraft on my PC again…. I don’t enjoy playing on keyboard and mouse , and just enjoy the nostalgia of playing with a controller. If anyone has a solution for me, it would be the best Christmas present ever . I am so upset , I just want to play Minecraft! :(

It’s a nuisance that they make the controller a mouse / keyboard & director… I built this pc for my little guy aside from the others we built and installed steam. It would take a 3 month course to master an Xbox controller as a mouse and keyboard lmfao…

Is there a way to use Steam virtual keyboard on Firefox by chance on Windows 10? I'm being lazy and I'm using Steam to controll my left analog stick as a mouse but have no way to map a keyboard to the Controller.
