Oh yeah, by how the Premier League is arranged, the level and money there is in the league, England is gonna keep pumping out stars. The more popular and well funded football is at a country, the better players turn out. Look at Uruguay, you don't even need much population, it's mostly about popularity of the sport and/or funding. South america relies a lot on pure popularity, while Europe relies on a mix of both, England has the best funding in the world and very good popularity.

Shaw was such a mistake. What was wrong with Chilllwell, Rico Henry, MItchell or Hall? How did none of them get into the squad? Ridiculous. Also, seems every armchair expert can see that Bellingham should be moved next to Rice, Foden central, Gordon left. That way Kane has 2 runners each side of him, and Foden is in his best position. Play Saka as a very attacking LB, with Walker forming 3 CB set up when Saka get advanced up the pitch, play Palmer RM, Gordon LM, Mainoo and Rice as a double pivot in CM, although I think Rice is not playing well. Bellingham and Foden as Two 10s behind Kane. As a Villa fan I would like to see Watkins given a game from 60 mins. Tell Kane run around like you are only playing for 60 mins. Play aggressive bold brand of football and score more than the oppos.

Bring Kane on towards the end. Watkins or Toney can tire out a defense much better than Kane can. Kane will do a good job on recovery if we need to defend a lead. I don't know WTF happened with Ben White, but if he was there, with his right wing connection at Arsenal with Saka, he'd have to start over Walker. What was he thinking in not taking a fit LB, Trippier hasn't worked, he's a right footer, ENG simply have no offensive left flank. Germany have scored more goals than in all the group games where ENG is in. No 2nd chances now in the KO stages, we need pace, width and energy, so: Watkins, who has had a great PL season, in for the tired/slow Kane. Palmer in for Saka, Saka has done ok but doesn't look fully good and Palmer is just better. Mainoo in for Gallagher, CM with Rice. Tired Bellingham rested, Foden to No10. Gordan LW. ENG have yet again, the 3rd competiton running, the flukiest of fluke draws, pick that team give those legions of fans something to roar about and they could well carry them all the way, because they certainly have the players/squad to do it.

England have treated these tournaments like summer camp for a while now, I think the England camp is too lax and we don’t have our eyes on the prize from when they step foot on the training pitch, it’s all about promo or how much fun they have together. Mate you have gelled the team and got rid of the cliques in the squad congrats but now it’s time to be serious. This was the tournament we thought it would all go well, but we are lucky to see a goal from us at the moment, in the last 2 games I fell asleep, if I was in Germany I would have been waking up next to that guy who lived streamed it at like 3am 😂😂 I think Southgate should have left the last Euros, he had laid good ground work and a manager that plays a more up to date style of football. I’m expecting us to pull up with a 442 😂 with his out of date tactics and mentality. We need a change now.

I don't think Trent was that bad in midfield. Shouldn't Foden be intelligent enough to not always cut inside? Shouldn't Kane be intelligent enough to not come deep and play off the shoulder of the defender??
