@@ishaanrohmetra3447Lord Buddha has learned 3rd and 4th Aroop Samdhi from Alarm kalam and Udrak Ramputra .3.Akinccananyatan : Nothingness 4.Nevassananasannayatana :Neither perception nor perception. This took these masters decades while Lord Buddha achieved these samdhi in weeks , these masters were amazed and asked him to teach.But Lord Buddha wasn't satisfied with it , he said while i am in samadhi my klesha don't arise but after i came to normal state my latent klesh are still there.Then these guru asked him to teach them if he realised Samyak Samboddhi.After Lord Buddha achieved Boddhi , he think of these 2 master with Gyan chakxu and he found that both masters were dead and was born in Aroop realms (with form only mind exist).These masters has tought Samatha meditation (concentration meditation, mind stays same for long time ) and gift from Lord Buddha to this world is Vipassana (seeing specially and holistically) see the nature of every phenomenon which is impermanent, not self , suffuring and emptiness.Samatha is like Microscope and vipassana is like analysing the nature ,Samtha itself cannot generate Gyan ,but it is used with vipassana to see the nature of reality and only realization of truth can liberate from cycle of death and birth.

When you do something, you can not meditate ; if you do and you say meditation, then it's conditioning. Or you can call it Self hypnotism.

I tried various kind of meditation, personally i like om chanting meditation, bt some time it is impractical for me, because i meditate at 5am when other members of my family sleeping, specially my father who works late night. That disturb him. Then i switched to vipassna. If u tremendously focus on breath u can actually feel the movement of nose hair tip. Its amazing.

Great to see this video @Ayush. You have explained the Phenomenology nicely. The flow of content is very much appreciated. Although, the whole meditation research domain is vast and a series of videos can be made. My research involved meditation and cognitive science and I've been working in this field since 2012.
