I felt like I was right there, in your garden - your family are lovely, you’re lovely, this video is lovely - thank you for keeping me company this morning. I identify with you and your family and your hobbies and all the things you’ve tried (pottery, carding and spinning wool, knitting, sewing, doing up Ikea chairs - I’ve done them all myself! My chairs ended up on the wood burner after MANY years but I’ve still got one minus its back, as a bird ‘table’ in my equally natural garden! And I bet you save all your seeds and let them grow wherever they like - my garden in summer is a buzzing mass of butterflies and other insects as I have devoted a lot of it to wildflowers with poppies and Queen Anne’s lace and other native flowers to grow freely and encouraged in between everything that was here when we moved in, and a vase of flowers in my kitchen is always just a jug of wildflowers and twigs too! We free spirits live an enriched life for our connection to nature and it’s clear that your children and their partners have a love of that same connection - it’s wonderful to see and listen to ❤

Kate, I've discovered your channel after watching Arne and Carlos. You may never see this comment but I want to thank you for yet another hobby. I started EPP! The great thing is I do between 10-20 Hexagons every night while watching TV. The blanket may take me to the day after never but I am enjoying all the colorful fabric and finally using my huge spool cotton basting thread. Kate you are such a treasure. Your family dearly love you (as do we all) and they're quite special people also. My mom is 77 and is always doing something. I'm drawing and planning a quilt meanwhile mom has made 10 quilts. Shes incredible. Canning and freezing all summer long and has 2 gardens that she works in. Flowers surround the entire home and she has countless chickens. Kate reminds me so much of her. I dearly love the pink chairs. I bought a hot pink chair to craft in and my kids were like why mom? I said I love bright pink and it makes me happy and inspired. Why not pink. Pink is good for the soul. 💕💕 Its always great to see you and what you've been doing. It was great to see you you name off all the designers on the little fabric pieces. People who don't sew can't understand that. Have a wonderful week. My Chamisa is blooming like crazy, it goes into fall. Down into the 50s at night and lovely days. I seem to have 10x more Chamisa this year, and they will get up to about 6x6. Right now they are glorious. Evergreen, too. Doncha know I can't bear to thin them out, yellow balls of flowers.

Fun fact: in flower arranging, your eye likes odd numbers (keep this in mind whilst cutting). But, what do you do if you have four? Make an odd number of groups. One here, one there and two (together) over yonder. (Your eye will think the two together as one flower). 💖🌞🌵😷
