I have just started watching this channel and I am learning so many new things and all the differences we share. When she said she was going to make flapjacks to put in the Christmas boxes, I thought she was nuts. How would she - and why would she - wrap pancakes in a Christmas box!? LOL I definitely have to google this and learn to make them. They looked fantastic!

I love it!! What a fun apron. I have never had “flapjacks “. Our food by that name is southern or country pancakes. I thought that these were just an oatmeal cookie but they are different from those too. We will have to give these a try.

Loved seeing Martha drawing and Agnes. She is so cute! The apron looks great and is a nice size. You bake like I do. I scrape every bit out of my bowls. It drives me nuts when I see cooking shows and they don’t scrape their measuring cups or bowls. Can’t wait to see the next item. 🤗🤗

That apron brings back memories, I made my husband a couple of real denim aprons as he was a milkman 50 years ago and they were very tough, no embroidery though just pockets !

Love the geese. I can see a story in them. Reminds me I need to keep up my drawing too. I like how you have to put the syrup in hot water, just like when I'm home in Tasmania. Here in the tropics where I'm currently living, you just leave ot in the pantry, even when it's cooler, it's still runny enough - just now poured some on my porridge before sitting down to watch and have brecki.❤

Your flapjacks remind me of our NZ (and Oz?) national icon “Anzac biscuits”. They have oats and golden syrup, butter sugar, but also flour and baking soda. They were apparently able to be made by the ANZAC soldiers during WW1, or maybe they just survived the journey from home to Gallipoli! Appreciate all you give us Kate, you are my happy place!

Our granddaughter, Alice, who will be five this month, stays over occasionally and always wants her "Teepah's" chocolate chip pancakes with "cream" (whipped, of course). Your/Mary Berry's flapjack recipe looks much less fussy to make; we will have to try it.

What a fun video with two talented women. I love the apron. It is very practical. I also love learning how names of things mean something completely different in various parts of the world. We would have called those flapjacks, oatmeal bar cookies. And the rocky road looked like my Rocky Road Fudge. I love how you put a lot of thought and talent into your Christmas boxes. Blessings!
