The fact that this woman never turned to drinking and drugs the way the press, Catholic church and politicians and so many others constantly threw Madonna under a bus because they just didn't get her and the fact she still here performing and releasing music just goes to show you how much of a survivor she is and how strong she truly is. No matter what people have said about her and no matter how many people don't like her I'm sure those same people know lyrics to a few of her songs and sing them behind closed doors because she has been around going on 5 decades. That is no easy task. She literally is the queen of Pop like Michael was the king. You don't have to like her, but what she has accomplished is very impressive . I'm just happy she was a big part of my youth. She sure made it a lot more interesting and a hell of fun. Thanks, Madonna!!!❤❤❤

David Pearl MJ was smart too he just went through a lot of bullshit it's VERY understandable why he toke a lot of medical drugs and had major depression he was human that's why and a human can only take so much.He had to deal with a rare skin disorder (back then it was very rare and only a few knew about it) that tabloids either were making fun of him calling him a liar or calling him a brown dalmatian. He had to deal with a terrible parent but sadly if it wasn't for that parent he would not be who he was as he said himself. He had to see things at an early age that 95% of children did not see and most should never see.He later had to deal with 2nd-3rd degree burns and a bald spot that never healed which caused him shit load of pain that's when the medical drug addiction started.Instead of reporting them he toke the money they offered and gave all of the money to the hospital that treated him a hospital for burned victims then he had to deal with his rapid vitiligo spread in the 80s it was so bad you could see it during his concerts no amount of makeup can hide that,he had to deal with tabloid lies all his life, then in 1993 we all know this one so I'll skip then he had to deal with the other B.S one in 2005 I'll skip that one as well and he had to deal with health issues all his life as I said he was only human which is why his case is understandable that does not make him "less" smart that makes him human.I can't speak for Prince or George.

You are so right , I am not as old as Madonna , but i am very close and i grew up listening to her in the 80's and i'll tell you that her music moved a generation .... It was nothing like the stars of today . She came on the scene in the mid 1980's like a house on fire and topped every chart selling over 300 million albums pure sales worldwide . She sold out River Plate ( Argentina ) for two shows , 80,000 each in 4 hours so they added one more show and it sold out in 20 minutes . I tried for tickets back in 1984 for her first tour and i was not able to get any . I could go on but i won't ...lol ... you are right , she is a legend !!!

We should all be praising Madonna. Throughout her 30+ year career she's stayed sane and never turned to drugs like oh so many do when they reach her level of fame. She's broken boundaries for all the other women in music who came after her, people wouldn't be praising Beyonce as much as they do if it hadn't been for Madonna who made it ok for women to be sexual in music, and now (amongst many other things) she's fighting ageism. IT WILL BE MADONNA THAT MAKES IT OK FOR YOUR FAV TO STILL DO WHAT THEY'RE DOING WHEN THEY REACH THEIR 50'S!! Sit your asses down and get over the stereotypical view of age. We know so much more now about being healthy etc now, the definition and look of 'old people' will change as current generations come through. I saw her once on stage: it was mostly playback. The rest was show. Acting. Fine but a bitter aftertaste. So sad gor she had it all.
