I have always assumed the Behemoth is one of the many long-necked dinosaurs. The tail and legs match that and the fact it was amongst the reeds. Demons as you likely know them are very specifically a post-revelations interpretations of the text: everything we know about evil comes from _after_ we first wrote about it, usually filtered through many lenses. There's like six different versions of the Christian Bible and they all say something very slightly different, which, over time, really starts to add up.

An interesting theory concerning the Nephilim is that they were supposed to be representative of all the old gods and heroes of mythologies. Primarily these were the Greek/Roman dieties, and were supposedbto help with the conversion of the peoples of those areas.

Slight issue with that theory being Nephilim are old testament, and the Israelites weren't all that interested in conversion, largely concerned with themselves and their own children.

Well both of you might be in the wrong... The nephilim were the kids born out of human women and the fallen Angels (they were a seperate group who came down on earth on their own Accord and were not part of Lucifer's inserruction) as half human and half spirit they were different from the humans (sons of Adam) (btw in those days men lived to be 900 years so imagine the stature of a guy who is that much old) these nephilim were way much bigger and taller than the rest... They got wiped out during the flood.... There weren't any "Israelites" then... The Israelites were the grand children of Abraham.

Also the Bible does not give us that much information about fallen angels and Satan's insurrection, that's mostly conjecture, nor does the Bible associate fallen angels with Nephilim. Also Nephilim appears in the book of Numbers and the book of 1 Samuel, so while all the Nephilim were killed in the flood, more were still born later

This is a very interesting video. It's a little bit frustrating, however, because when people who are not deeply religious teach on subjects like this, they only tell half the story. The other half of the story that you are missing is that every single theologian from the time that the Book of the Apocalypse was written has interpreted these beasts and tribulations as referring to both what was happening around and shortly after the time of the writing and ALSO as a reference to what will happen at the very end of the world. That is the way God has worked throughout the entirety of Scriptural history - what came before acts as a foreshadowing of what will happen later. So, the time of Nero is a foreshadowing of what will happen at the very end of the world. The beast with 10 hornes and a little horn that is the Antichrist is not simply a figure of the Roman Empire and Nero. It also prefigures a sort of One World Government and the big Antichrist before the second coming of Christ, who will slay that beast with the breath of His mouth.
