Thank you for your sweet comment! I know I would like to change my programm language to english but unfortunately that's not possible. I tried to change it and the programm became half german and half english. Because of this I prefer to keep it german and translate everything essential by myself so you don't have any issues following my tutorials. Also I think it's less confusing to keep the programm on one language then two.

It's a standard preset that can be found under the effect called "Cookie Cutter". What Sony Vegas version are you using? Pro? Or Movie Studio? Because Movie Studio might not have it.

Hm... maybe because of this problem you are not able to find the effect. Click on "View" in the top left corner in your Sony Vegas, select "Window Layouts" and choose the option "Default Layout" This might be helpful!

Should work just fine, I don't really know what's causing the issue for you. Make sure to have the exact same preset settings enable as I do within the window at 0:58.

How do I do a letter with a square around it? Everything went well until I was finished with making the intro, when i previewed the Intro i had both the text and square on screen at the same time but then the square took over the text and all you could see was the square and black background. Please help!

Every Vegas Pro version has it. It's a standard effect. You probably using Movie Studio, a smaller version of the editing programm Vegas. You should definitely switch to Vegas Pro!
