This may be a little bit random, but I'm really impressed by how strong Bonney was at a young age because Bonney was never portrayed as a strong combatant, she was more like a character like sugar that has this kind of op technique based devil fruit, but in this chapter she was giving Vinsmoke Germa 66 genetic kids

If she wasn't physically strong she would never have survived in the new world for this long. So many decently strong pirates from the paradise don't last in the new world for as long as Bonney did.

I think Oda was trying to show that Bonney was strong for normal standards, which is why she was able to survive the Grand Line, but she's still the weakest Supernova because, well, she is an actual 12 year old, so it makes sense. Even Blackbeard was surprised as to why she was so young, but her high bounty likely had more to do with the Government wanting her as a bargaining chip for Kuma

You have to remember Bonney is Ginny’s daughter, and Ginny was strong enough to lead the Revolutionary Army’s eastern forces. She also has her mother’s wit and adaptability. Of course the fruit she ate gives her a significant edge in combat and espionage, but she was strong without it.

Vegapunk's plan of sawing his brain off and creating the satellite bodies REALLY upped his efficiency. In 4 years he basically reformed the entirety of Egghead, he made the stratums, the island aircon, the pacifista, the seraphim, the mother flame, studying the void century, the mechanized sea beasts, the Vegaforce mecha, a junkyard's worth of inventions and probably much more too.

I think that Luffy, in gear 5 Nika form could be able to control the pacifistas, because Kuma sees Nika as the authority above all others, so that would override anyone elses commands, including the gorosei. Vegapunk may have also accidentally rebuilt the old void century robot that was powered by the eternal flame, or an eternal will that stays lit no matter what, perhaps even the will of D, in the form of Kuma and the pacifistas. It would make sense if both were revived and climbed the grand line when it heard the drums of liberation, it just doesn't explain how the old robot heard it so long ago.

Pel should be dead, he had a death scene shortly after his and Vivi's backstory even if Oda retconed it. Pedro died shortly after his backstory. Vergo died shortly after learning his backstory. Ect... It doesn't happen every time, but it's frequent in most stories.

I don't think there's ever been another character so heavily tied to the Straw Hats as Kuma (and Bonney, by proxy). I mean, the events of Luffy's backstory, the burning of the Gray Terminal, indirectly influences the direction that Kuma's life takes, which eventually forces him out to sea as a pirate. That lets Kuma go all over the world searching for a cure for Bonney, which in turn has him finding the perfect place to send each of the Straw Hats to help them get stronger.

I really enjoyed your video and the chapter reviews you do. Your insights and how you connect different ideas are better than any other KZbinr I've seen. Overall, the video was great, but I noticed the content sped up a lot from around 15:30 to 17:10. I had to replay that part about five times to keep up. Maybe keeping a more even pace, especially during parts about theories or predictions, would help. Those bits demand more mental processing as we try to connect the dots. And when they're delivered quickly with evidence, it's tough to catch everything in one go. If the issue was caused because you were trying to aim for a certain time window, slowing down during these complex sections and picking up the pace during summaries might make it easier to follow. But again, the video was excellent and every point was well-supported by evidence.

The formula on Vegapunks whiteboard looks eerily similar to Coulomb's Law. Not entirely sure though (I'm just a measly mathematician, not a physicist). But if Oda meant that to be Coulomb's Law, then Vegapunk was likely occupied with electric force between particles, meaning not only is actual physics a thing in One Piece, but Vegapunk might have used this in his developments of either the satellites, the Pacifistas or for something else. Aaaanyway, it looks like Oda tried to research physics here. We can see ε_0 in the line above with something that's divided by 2, which could be the calculation that ends up on the last line we see. The left most symbol is probably not an ε but an E and the squiggly thing after the 4 would be π. It looks more like σ instead of π, but Oda can change around symbols, he's the author after all. I see this as a nod of Oda to physics and also think this probably confirms that stuff from our world is probably valid in one piece too....like the existence of our subatomic particles in addition to a few more than we have. And now the fun part: Coulomb's Law is what led scientists to the idea of a strong force. That's the force that holds the nucleus together, which would be weird without the strong force, cuz they're all positively charged or have no charge, so why else would they stick together. Why is that important? Well that's because the strong force is what it's all about in nuclear fusion. The strong force will only ever do anything at extraordinarily small distances. This means you gotta smash stuff together REALLY hard so they get close enough to stick together. That's what fusion is... Banging hydrogen together so hard the strong force takes over and you get helium out of 2 hydrogens. And the force that makes it so difficult to get the 2 hydrogens close enough is what's alluded to on the whiteboard. Yes... Vegapunk was already thinking about fusion back then and he probably already had the giant mech lying around somewhere. Oda really did his research here if this is really what I think it is.

The one thing that gets me is: didn't bonney absorb/touch the memory bubble? by doing so, shouldn't that bubble be apart of her now? Everytime we have seen someone touch one of kuma's paw bubbles, the person(s) touching them absorbs it and w/e it entails. For zoro, it was luffy's pain for example. Unless they can somehow get those memories out of bonney which I think the Og Kuma can do, If he's ordered to... somehow. Outside of that, idk how Kuma comes back, because the 2nd bonney touched that bubble, she effectively Killed Kuma. Unless that bubble was different for some reason and wasn't shown and is still sittign there waiting for kuma to touch it, but we didn't see any implication of that being the case. As far as i'm aware, Kuma's memories are in bonney right now and thus, cannot be sent to the original body, a clone, or the Kuma seraphim. I really want to be wrong on this, but idk how. His original body seems like it may be beyond repair, maybe if vegapunk, Chopper, and franky get on him asap, but it's still just a mindless cyborg of kuma at this point. I did forget about the Kuma seraphim, but it doesn't change anything. Unless I miss something on that chapter where bonney absorbed Kuma's memory bubble, then proceeded to cry that night for hours on end.

I forgot what chapter it is, there is a room in Egghead full of human organs, one of the Vegapunk said that they're also trying to grow human organs maybe at some point in the story Vagapunk can restore Kuma back to his human body using the human organs they're growing in the lab and once the body is fully restored Vegapunk or Kuma can put back Kuma's memory.

I'm actually beginning to wonder if the bridge from Tequila Wolf is meant to act as the government's plan as the only way to travel once the red line is destroyed. Yuderon made a very good point that the destruction of the red line might not be in our favor as the rising water levels are becoming a more apparent problem in One Piece. The red line is the biggest dam, and destroying it could be catastrophic to all. The RL was once known as the continent to the gods (Formely the Lunarians) so it might have always been designed to remain intact instead of a government built thing for us to destroy. Instead it could be the governement's plan to destroy it (Living on its base for now to keep it from falling into protection from someone else) and flood the world, leaving the eventually finished bridge as being the only means for trade and travel; which they'd have complete control over. And if it does connect four areas with one crux in the middle, that does look a lot like the govt insignia.

This video made me think of a ritual called "equatorial baptism", otherwise known as 'line-crossing'. It's a ritual where Neptune blesses people who cross the equator. Which got me thinking of the huge bridge. What if Imu wanted the bridge to exist, so Imu could cross the ocean (line-crossing) without receiving 'Neptunes' blessing'. Because, if Imu is the sea devil, or has a devil-devil no mi, Imu wouldn't want to be baptised by the sea or Neptune. If a celestial dragon wanted the bridge, would they really live on for over 700 years to see the end result of a finished bridge? I think Imu is the prime candidate for wanting the bridge.

@artur I am actually more interested in the fact that Oda doesn't show Bonney eating any Devil Fruit, which is normally depicted for other characters. Additionally, Bonney seems surprised when asked where she got the fruit from. What if, in light of Bonney's potential lineage, this is one of those cases where she desired to be older so much that she somehow obtained these powers? It's somewhat similar to what Dr. Vegapunk mentions in Chapter 1069, about Devil Fruits possibly being born from people's dreams.

I was waiting for Dragon to arrive at Egghead in chapter 1100 but instead, Kuma might be the one coming. If he comes to Egghead, it's 100% that he will reflect all the damage to Saturn, which he received during the last 2 years. Kuma is very durable because of his bloodline so I'm guessing that this huge amount of extracted damage from his body might take down Saturn. It seems that he only acts on the safety of Bonney right now, so maybe he sensed the execution order of Bonney somehow and skipped fighting Akainu and jumped to Egghead. It will be cool if he gets all his memories back and return to his old self.

We'll have to see if S-Bear can repel the memories away from Bonney and give them back to Kuma, as he is probably the one that did the operation im the first place (if the memories got stored in paw bubble form).

I think Dragon's fruit is not the Wind fruit, but the Pressure-Pressure fruit. What is wind really?...it's moving air. This movement of air is caused by differences in atmospheric pressure...air moving from a high pressure area to a lower pressure area creates wind. Similarly, Dragon uses his fruit to create differences in pressure, thus generating wind. I think his pressure abilities also affects other things besides the atmosphere.

I still do not get one think about this past. Kuma joined warlords while he was being investigated by Vegapunk, however Saturn knew he was a bucaneer. Why they did not kill him? Vegapunk probably told them that with Kuma's body, their clone army will be possible but i do not understand why they let him being a warlord and let Bonney be a pirate. Maybe it was a Vegapunk petition for them being partial free? WG needs Vegapunk's knowledge and letting a simple pirate (Bonney) and a free soldier (Kuma) was not a bad pact for them. If Vegapunk obeys them for that pact, that looks fine for them. Also about Bonney's fruit. I have 2 theories: 1-Bonney ate that fruit in Pangea Castle. Celestial dragons give DF to slaves to use their bodies as toys. However that fruit is not just a simple fruit. It looks WAAAY strong right now knowing that being at "almost death" helps to activate the awakening. Why WG would use that fruit for that? 2- Bonney got the fruit AT THAT EXACT MOMENT. How? 2 ways: a) A user died and Bonney ate that fruit while in the church. Too many coincidences for that to be real. b) Bonney WISHED to be older. Vegapunk told that DF appeared as wishes of people. As the exact way that when a DF user dies, a random fruits becomes a DF, the soul of the DF traveled and joined into Bonney to fulfill her wish.

I think everything has been planned by Vegapunk. Remember when Saturn is arriving, Vegapunk is confident they will be able to escape. Kuma said it himself, his ability makes everything he takes to eventually return unless he or someone else takes it. I think Kuma will die at Egg Head, but it is all part of Vegapunk's plan. When CP0 was introduced, the called S-Bear a Trouble Child. I do believe Vegapunk created S-Bear as a worst case scenario. Also to redeem himself from what he did to Kuma. But also to give Bonney his Dad Back. S-Bear likely has the ability to override the Control Orders, exceeding even the Gorosei. Once Kuma dies, all those memories need to return somewhere. But Vegapunk likely has programmed it that the one that gets the memories is not Kuma (already mortally wounded by Akainu) but S-Bear, the strongest of all the Seraphim. As it has both Bucaneer and Lunarian DNA. Making it the strongest Hybrid Ever. This is also Vegapunk granting Kuma's wish of making him into a Warrior of Liberation. And with Bonney having the ability to Age people, we could very well see how the Prime Version of a Seraphim can destroy Saturn. It would be so satisfying that it is Kuma himself the one that defeats and even kills Saturn.

My prediction for chapter 1100: The cover page is obviously a Color Spread. Shortly after becoming a Warlord, and during the same time Luffy got his 1st bounty, he was researching through some old Navy files, which lead him to learn how Luffy was related to Dragon, as well as the reveal of his last rank before resigning. We get an epic & detailed recap of Kuma's life since his introduction after Alabasta, which includes: - His rxn to Teach beating Ace, - His encounter with the SH in Thriller Bark & Sabody - His final conversation with Rayleigh, where he tells the Dark King about Luffy being in Amazon Lily, including his own experience with the Kuja Tribe. - Vegapunk turning him into what he is now, and how Kuma protected the Sunny after MF. - In the final pages, we return to the present where Saturn orders the Marines to kill Bonney, but something unexpected happens! - Plus, a small tribute to chapter 100 involving Dragon, and probably no break next week.

I’ll give my own: Short one page recap of the flashback of whatever Saturns “plan” is; Back to Egghead and Luffy restarts Nika heartbeat somehow and saves Bonney; Saturn goes to kill Vegapunk since he is right in front of him but Kizaru blocks the attack; Saturn calls him a traitor for all Marines to hear; Saturn attempts to kill others in front of him but Kuma appears in front of him; Kuma reveals that there was safe guards put in place to regain memories if Nika ever appeared; Kuma asks Luffy/Nika to protect his daughter and says goodbye to Bonney; Kuma, who has been holding pain in his cyborg body for 3 solid years ever since protecting the Sunny, essentially detonates, pushes all that pain into Saturn at once, which kills him; Kuma dies in the process; Break next week.

I think it's interesting that it's implied that Dragon was a Admiral & has a wind devil fruit. Because Enel's fruit is something that would of most likely ended up in the hands of the Marines or WG & given to a past admiral so if that was the case it kind of makes one wonder how Enel's fruit actually ended up on the sky islands & if there was a Admiral lets say around the time of Gods Valley that some how left the marines or was lost & ended up on the sky islands away from the rest of the WG almost like the original user of the fruit wanted to hide the fruit itself so a future Admiral couldn't use that fruit. Also makes me wonder if somehow there Will would of matched that of Enel's so had some sort of Justice that would of been something like Corrupt Justice or Conquering Justice.

Kuma's memory will return to him. He took the pain of the people because, if no one took it, it would return to them. so, if no one takes his memory (considering Bonney just watched his memory but it is still there in a bubble, somehow), it will return to him. at least it was the plan.

When Kuma explained that if he did not take in the pain he removed from people, it would return to its original host, it makes me think that a form of Kuma (s-bear, the robot, pacifista or even just his original body) will have that memory bubble return to him. That would be a great counter measure that Kuma would have known about if he was forced to "die" by the government.

But didn't bonney already absorb that bubble when Vegapunk told her not too? She's aware of Kuma's memories still as pointed out when she cried all night, and seemed a bit different. How can the bubble return or be taken in by someone else if Bonney already did so? Unless I'm missing a detail on bonney touching the bubble, absorbing the bubble, but it stays in place? we never seen one of Kuma's bubbles do that before. it's always been absorbed by whomever first touches it.
