I tried this technique in August 20th on my client She has a Bob style. It turned out sooooo pretty, soft and blended. It took me 20 minutes and I charge for a partial highlights. On my note I put JHL. James highlights. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏

That leave open foil I should do more to save time. It gives more oxygen as well. I think we get stuck in our habits that cost time and this one is a biggy I already fold under and have since hair school 9 years ago at 45. I haven’t worked with many experienced stylists so these techniques are refreshing to watch so thank you so much for that.
@TheLifeOfHair4 жыл бұрын
Yes Josie it definitely saves you time passing unfolding always takes way more time than you would ever imagine it saves me about 10 minutes every set of foils not folding. So pleased that my videos have been helpful to you Josee

I am taking notice of how the music in the background is so peaceful for a change. You can focus on the work High techno music is jarring and competes with the speaker
@TheLifeOfHair4 жыл бұрын
Wonderful yes I have change the background music that I put in my videos I much prefer it hey I don’t know why I was put in such stupid music in my videos I guess I was caught in the trap of doing what everybody else does I’ve been watching this brilliant videographer on KZbin for awhile now and they really liked music he was using so I thought well must give the girl in my videos and I much prefer it I have to say I’m glad that people have noticed and commented

I know my comment is super late, but I just watched this video. This was a very good video! Very helpful! Oh, and about “he never sais quoi”….I am also sure MANY people have answered you. I don’t know how many French people actually say that phrase, because I mostly hear it used in the English language, but in my lifetime, when I have heard it used, it is like saying “she has a certain SOMETHING that can’t be defined, named, or explained, even if I tried, because of how unique and special it is.” This is just my own made up sentence, as an example. I am sure the phrase could refer to anything, not just a person, obviously. Sorry. I am sure that you know this better than I do! 🙄

@TheLifeOfHair4 жыл бұрын
It is possible and previously highlighted hair but what I would say is if you’re going to do it on previously highlighted hair it does need to have quite a long route on it or you need to put a root stretch in between the packets to achieve this affect. I have a video on how to turn I highlight client into a Balyage client check it out it’s more akin to somebody that is already got highlights

Thanks James, would this work on an overhighlighted blonde if also adding in a low light to break up the old a bit? Or would it not be enough coverage overall?
@TheLifeOfHair2 жыл бұрын
No worries Natalie glad you liked it yes you could use this technique to add depth back in but I would recommend to use anything like a skip slice or quite a chunky weave if you wanted to get depth back into the hair using baby find sections like we do in this video really wouldn’t work to add depth and break up over highlighted hair

I hope your family and loved ones are all okay, this pandemic is scary especially for older loved ones and those with health issues. How is the pandemic in the uk now? Don’t forget to get some sunshine while you guys are in summer so get out in the sun as it boosts the immune system and is good for us in moderation of course. It’s best to take vit d supps in the uk too though esp in winter etc as I read the sun isn’t as strong in Northern Europe and any other northern or southern countries that are further away from the equator.

I ♥️ this for straight here, but doubt this would work for frizzy curly hair. Slices work better there. Do you think this pattern would work with slices too?
@TheLifeOfHair2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can just vary your weave depending on the hair texture as with all techniques curly hair You would want to do A slice as you said or escape slice is a really good technique actually feature that particular technique in one of my most recent videos

@TheLifeOfHair4 жыл бұрын
Hi wonderful thank you for your question so yes it Could be a combination of both of those things really I never thought my phone was too tightly and I always put lots of products in there if you sold your foil to tight then that can cause bleeding because there is nowhere for the bleach to go apart from out the top 👍🏻

Should you start in the crown area?
@TheLifeOfHair4 жыл бұрын
Kirsten yes in most colouring techniques obviously you would probably start in the crown to reach the crown at first but this technique shouldn’t take more than 25 minutes or so to apply because of the nature of the technique so I would say starting in the front would be okay I start these techniques in the front and have no problems
