OK think I know, corner shop used to be post office when I was a boy , on the corner Buxton street , and the main road is Hanley rd ,the Sneyd arms pub is on the right after the house's, but not then built

Hi. Do you maybe have an idea where i could get some old photos of SoT other than Internet? i was thinking of a project to create before and today comparison of strictly Stoke city centre and Hanley. Is there any company/museum which can share old photos?

Try The Sentinal news paper office's or Hanley library they will have loads of book's with local photo's and they allow you to photocopy as many as you want for a small fee.
