How did he go from 20 to 48 mil? 1. Monday: picking up the phone and calling agents for meetings (meeting them twice a week at least) 2. Tuesday: Follow up day! Calling borrower’s or listing’s agent to figure how files are moving (status update calls) Notice how only top producers show up early in the morning at 8 am! And consistently 3. Lean hard into your past clients. If you are just starting out lean toward other leads generating sources. This is where you can improvise and think outside of boxes. 4. looking at your numbers! What he is talking about at 43:45 is called conversion rate. How many of those generated leads were actually converted to sales? Dustin confirms: 100 leads 20 units and 4 million (I believe its 80/20 rule) Kevin’s top 3 word of wisdom: 1. Perfect is the enemy of profit. What’s interesting is that he is a perfectionist and that is definitely the reason for his success but he also knows that he has to loses it up a bit for the absolute efficiency. (Find that balance between controlling and efficiency) 2. Be the great technician. Notice how Dustin is more like a sales person/entrepreneurial and Kevin is more of an engineer. (Know your strengths and weaknesses) 3. Stick to the script! (Keeping those hours) If you follow the process the success comes with it. Be aggressively patient and know that great things take time. Bonus tip: Get a wife that understands and support you. There will is sacrifices. Dustin is actually married to his high school sweet heart. Shout out to your amazing wife Dust! Again thanks for the wisdom

Hey, I a master automotive technician. I own a automotive repair shop in eastern Virginia and want to make a career transition into Mortgage loan origination. I am currently taking a 20 hr pre licensing coarse and hope to be licensed by the end of the summer. How do I decide where to work? I know from my experience as an automotive technician the type of place you start will most likely dictate your future direction. (For better or worse) Thank you so much for taking the time to read my comment. Have a blessed day, Kyle Davis
