Honestly what they need to do is get rid of the current superstore model by not using timers and just have all of the superstore items catalogued in their specific sections in the store whether it be armor, weapons, capes and other miscellaneous items. They need to get rid of timers and make it so we can buy any item we want from the superstore at any moment. And when they add a new item they can just have it displayed in the front of the superstore for a week so people know it's there but then keep it in the catalog where people can buy it any day they want similar to war bonds. This way there is no FOMO and the player base can be more agreeable to having these items in the superstore because they can just grind at their leisure and buy them whenever they feel like it. Effectively turning the superstore into just one massive war bond.

Other games openly advertise that this is what they're going to do. HD2 devs said content would not be paywalled and it isn't - no-once is making you pay for anything necessary or particularly useful. The gun is really a shittier Liberator. The armour passive is mid at best. And people who cry about how it's impossible to earn the SC are literally not trying at all. They're crying their eyes out like a bunch of entitled children, hoping someone will just give them all the sweeties for nothing of they make enough noise. It's truly pathetic and it's putting me off looking at any HD2 content online because the negativity, particularly on certain channels with shitty controversy baiting titles, is pretty much absolute all the time.

But if you can't afford the limited time content at the time, then you're screwed. You're at the mercy of the store timer when you spent money on the game waiting for the content you actually wanted. It can take up to 2 months for some items to be recycled. That's BS. The timer need to go and the content needs to remain available permanently.

For all the flaws HD2 has had, one issue I never had was the pricing. With enough dedication, I could grind for the warbonds no problem. While I do understand why people are upset about the prices in the superstore, I do believe it's important to keep in mind that this may not be as cut and dry as we think. AH most likely didn't just ask for the killzone IP, and sony was like, "Sure! Do whatever you want with it, " i believe, Sony wanted AH to make this as monetizing as possible or they wouldn't get the Crossover. And AH can't say that Sony made them do this because it would be damaging to the brand, and they would never be allowed to make any more crossovers ever again.

I got suspicious when the stun baton was a super store exclusive but ignored it because the lance was in the warbond and was very similar and it only cost 200 sc but getting a unique gun and armor passive at that price with nothing else like it in the game bothers me, if it was like armor in the super store after a warbond drop where you can get the same armor passive in the warbond or the shop item its cool but this feels off.

Im into it, I love the helmet , it goes with almost every outfit. The cape and the gear look good. The gun I think is good for illuminates because of the ammo capacity, as I use other weapons for the medium armor enemies. And to complain about the weapon, there was the stun baton a few days before, people are just complaining because they don't like the price.

A lot of people are freaking out, IMO, the Killzone items that are for sale in the super store are not scummy, all can be bought in piece meal, not requiring the whole 20 dollars. Its few hours of play for every item each player wants like normal. Its still facilitating customer choices for the players, while also showing the new profitability of collabs to investors and publishers for AH.

One real problem that I've only heard mentioned one other time is that by putting it in rotation, we would have to wait months for it to come back because there is so much in the store. They need to get rid of the timer, even reducing the timer still means FOMO. The other problem is all of this was leaked to be in a killzone warbond (they even had the warbond art in the game!) which would have been more expensive. I and many other people probably would have been fine with that due to it being a collab plus there is no fomo with warbonds. Instead they separated out all the individual parts and made the gun by itself which is what most people would probably want from it mainly, almost as much as a single older total warbond. My review has flipped from positive to negative to positive and now back to negative on steam.

It could all be solved by removing the store timer.

Another issue i dont see anyone talking about is the release window of this crossover. The squids show up drawing big player numbers just in time for a new warbond with 2 HIGHLY requested stratagems and the HIGHLY requested melee weapons so most players either bought or used saved up SC already. Releasing this collaboration knowing a good chunk of your player base is tapped out on premium currency is equally as predatory as the prices themselves.

Your price analysis is wrong, it cost $20(1/2 the total games cost, identical to the super citizen bundle) if you choose that route. I got the armor earlier today after farming for 90min on lvl 1 difficulty for 400 sc.
