Not sure it was over expensive as you were sitting in. Generally prices have gone through the roof everywhere. But there seemed a lot of batter and chips seemed a bit pale.

I have always said this is the best fish and chip restaurant in Blackpool. Tower Fisheries is cheap but you get a child size portion. Yorkshire fisheries is expensive with the special now costing £15-00 and the curry sauce impossible to eat it is so spicy. The Sea is the best but you should have got the Pensioners special. Fish and chips, a slice of bread and butter and a cup of tea for £9-95. You both qualify on age and it is a bargain. I am pleased at last someone has reviewed The Sea and now you should try The Gurkha buffet Waterloo Rd for an evening meal. It is excellent.

Hi lee I was at blackpool last week and visited Yorkshire fisheries and got fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce I mentioned to the lady that served us that you recommend it and that the curry sauce was spicy and she said yeah he's just a big jessie😅 10/10 for the fish but.

You cant beat a damp day in Blackpool, the ammusement arcades love them as do the places to eat. Like most places you have to shop around for the best value. I havn't been there since the mid 70's back then it took ages to make your way through the crowds, but sadly they have gone to costa fortune instead. Someday i must go back, i havn't that far to go from North Wales.

It's sad to see Blackpool deserted in July ,this time in the 80s it was packed ,you couldn't move most of the hotels had no vacancies in the windows,the shows on the north pier were always fully booked , ,the m55 was full of yelloways coaches ,the only time it gets busy when the rebellion is on ,the Blackpool air show and the illuminations ,,Blackpool council should have let the Americans took over ,they would have transformed It how it once was ,great vid

I would have gone higher than Lee's 7.3. With two pieces of fish and a mountain of chips I reckon it's worth 8.5. As for the price, Lee is including the peas, curry sauce, bread and butter and teas. Take them off and the actual fish and chips were quite good value. The tea alone is £1.90 per serving on the online menu.
