I absolutely LOVE playing alter. I discovered alternative ways to use her tactical ability, our team was backed up to a wall and a bangalore threw her ult down and we couldnt escape so I used alters q on a nearby rock to go into the void state and dodge the explosions. She's so versatile and works really well on every map this season. Can't wait to see what other instances her abilities get used in

2 extra tips, you can use the death box scanning to see where your opponents are by seeing if items are removed from that death box, and second, if you know where your opponent is hiding, you can shoot your Q at the wall they're hiding at and it'll create a portal to the where you shot it, meaning they're tped to you, and they're left unguarded as it's essentially impossible to predict.

Alter's mysteriousness also pairs well with her kit since its very defensive, aggressive and evasive. Depending on what perks you choose, it either makes her more of a team player or kind of selfish which is good for solos and trios. Choosing perks for your tact doesn't really benefit your team that much and is more selfish, while perks for your ult, provide your team with more mobility but less aggressive opportunity for yourself. This perks and skills just really add on to how complex and mysterious Alter is. Who IS she???

I just don't agree with 1 thing Revenants' ultimate was good in other things, like: -Giving the whole team extra health -once under 100 damage dealt they return instantly to the portal without Wraith animation and without needing to channel back holding the interact (so it is instant) -The enemies can't use it

my team composed of: Alter-Caustic-Loba/Newcastle so we can use alter ult to bait kidnap someone back to closed space and swiss cheese 1 squad right there with gas and shields, since it's one way ticket either you win or die. also Alter pretty strong if your team knows every SINGLE map layouts which where to zap in and out. just remember her walls depth somewhere around 20-22. so thick walls like the interconnect section areas can be skipped and used as third parties.

PRO TIP that Macro COMPLETELY missed out on. If you're close to the Respawn Beacon but it's in the storm and it's round 4, drop the Void Nexus in the ring, and respawn your teammate. When you get knocked in the storm, you can use the Void Nexus to get back inside the ring! Just make sure you're within the Void Nexus's range, and you're all good to go. 😈

Considering Alter's interest in Horizon, plus Horizon having one of the biggest goals in Apex (literal time travel when most legends either fight for fame, fortune, or someone they love), I think we can all agree that the most likely culprit behind that [REDACTED] is Horizon. My #2 spot is probably Ash, since she will stop at nothing to make sure she keeps existing, even to the point of stopping Horizon's efforts, which led to the Rift in the sky as of S22

Her tactical can also pull enemies out of cover. Someone kept peeking behind cover, so I put a portal on it and the idiot went through 😂. I’m loving this character so far. It’s like she can make one of those cartoon holes in the wall.

Another pro tip is to use her portal to teleport ENEMIES off guard. Like if they are above you they will instantly be ported down if they touch the portal and you can just wipe them

One buff I would add is being able to throw and shoot things through the portals in general.

Another tip is to destroy the ult when you use it so the enemies cant follow. Also there are portal superjumps (just crouch and then jump at the right time on a vertical portal going upwards)

dude, tested it in the firing range and you dont have any phase protection ater the ultimate, and also the enemies following you through the portal dont have any protection after the phase... that means, put your ultimate down and then set wattson traps on it, and if any enemy follows you through your portal it is an instant kill (like you follow an alter ult portal, immediately getting stunned and if you want to get the complete overkill then just add a thermite after you teleported and watch the enemy getting stunned and burned)

I wouldn't say alters passive makes Loba any worse, Lobas ult can be used by your team and let's you grab 2 items per person, so 6 (7 if the Loba player gets her upgrade) items from death boxes, bassicly looting an entire team you didn't kill, Alter can only get 3 items, oh yea not to mention Loba let's you get unlimited ammo where alter can only grab ammo once

i think alter is fun but is gonna be a pub stomp legend or a sleeper pick for ranked. her tac is only good for breaching places and moving your whole team to highground. her ult is good but most of the time it doesn't need to be used and it can be easily countered. she's a fun, balanced legend, definitely not a meta changer but still a very good addition to the game
