Thank you very much. Amazing fish albeit very very slow growing. Good clean water with lots of water changes. They are an obligate sand sifting omnivore spa varied low fat diet will be ideal. Let them Sift through the sand . They are a smaller species reaching a maximum of about 9”

Not an easy question to answer as not on food would meet the needs of the vast diversity of Central American species. Variety would be key, low fat foods.
