Kazuya Legacy Combo | T1 - T5

I revisited T1-T5 yesterday to make this special video!
As Tekken 7 draws closer I wanted to make a video showcasing the potential of Kazuya in the previous classic Tekken games.
He has since Tekken 2 been what one can simply call a "monster".
I did not include T6 as its not that old and Kazuya is similar to his TTT2 version only weaker.
The video is filled with text on details which can be studied by pausing the video. I wanted a high paced video which would be breeze to watch.

Tekken 4 had great art, narrator, intro, default costumes and atmosphere. My personal favourite followed by Tekken 5 like you. Kaz looked so good in T4. Lee was my choice though.

T5 was second best, T4 felt like a full game it had huge stages to fight in all different from one another, alot of game modes, a real story, tekken force at its peak and the combat system was my favorite because everyone could slam someone into a wall like steve and if you knew how to juggle you were a god amongst men so being good in t4 really really showed way past button mashing unlike the other tekkens

2:43 That's just fuckin sick! I didn't know how to do any of these moves when I played this game. You were in high school when T4 came out, I was in 5th grade. I didn't actually start playing other Tekken players until T6 online. Before that it was just my brother, some friends who didn't really play the game, and A.I. I thought I was the shit back then. So much nostalgia watching these old Tekken games, I miss those days.

We most keep Tekken 4 in our library of Tekken collection because it was one of the best Tekken ever....it fighting engine was the most realistic of them all.... you could have almost fight all over any arena that you chooses.....the juggles was tone down...the life meter Last longer, and the game introduce some of the best looking realistic character we ever seen in the series.... and the gameplay was more like soul Calibur etc, ... someone could have been a bit too high for you to catch them with a low kick.... like the stage in mall fighting up the steps....and lots of new features was introduced to the game... like the off wall kick...Paul red and white outfit and loose hairstyle, kazuya returns. Heihachi was the boss again. And Jin new fighting gear....was very nice....so give it up for tekken 4.

WOAW! Cool video man I really like T1-T5...and I thought I had one of the best combos in Tekken 1 and Tekken 2 (WGF as 1st hit) with Kazuya/Heihachi/Devil :D by doing WGF, 1,2 ff 1,2 (let your opponent drop on the ground) u/f4~3 that's 83 dmg. But since you're really good with combos in T5-TTT2 I always questioned myself what your take would be on T1-T4 and how well you would do in those games. I also really liked the yellow glowing effect when transitioning between titles! I'm just an extremely big fan of the old Tekken games and hope me and you can VS each other somehow with T1-T3 someday :) ...

Tekken 2 was my first fighting game, and first video game ever. The first time I fought him in the boss stage, I wanted to unlock him so bad, and then he turns into a Devil that can fly and shoots a lazer out of his head?!? Favorite Tekken character since, Heihachi is a very close second though. Never been a fan of Jin tho, he's not evil enough :)

Just quickly, in T1 I'm pretty sure if you're quick enough you can do WGF_d/f+1,2, d/f+1,2, dash 1, DWGF, dash u/f+4~3 as a death combo! It's ridiculously hard to pull off though, I know I got it at least once.

WOW TMM , very nice contents especially detailed in T4 part about wall hitboxes. I think T4 is the best, its the most " innovative " and fresh in the series ( followed in those terms by T7 ) , along with narrative and the atmosphere , I also love to move and space my opponent before the start of match ( usefull vs capos :D ) but it's so unpopular due to weird combo system, small roster etc.

Tekken 4 was definitely one of the better games. It really started to get me going when I was younger. I didn't know that Namco had even decided to get rid of him for good back in 1996! Im not sure what to say about his return though, I don't know whether it was a good idea or not. I don't hate Kazuya at all, its just I think his return defeated the purpose of Jin having his fighting style, and then Devil Jin came along.

Tekken 1 kazuya had a neat trick with his 1 grab. 1 grab, 1 step back after it lands, then uf+2+4 for a heavy ground pound that’s guaranteed because of the crazy long lay down times. Repeat this a second time for death. Since you can’t break throws in Tekken 1, it was pretty nuts. Heihachi May have had all of kazuya’s moves in Tekken 1, but this trick was unique only to kazuya and made him better than heihachi in my opinion. Heihachi’s throws didn’t guarantee much follow up damage afterwards.
