Hey family I would like to make a request if I may, just to get your views on the following points which I just need a different perspective of: 1. Transparency vs Honesty (is it the same thing for men as it is for women? ) 2. Trust (Lies or rather, incomplete truth - How to really work that trust in a relationship) 3. Privacy (Cellphone, Outside Relationships with same/ opposite sex) 4. Roles and responsibilities of two individuals who are in a relationship. 5. Abuse in relationships (Not particularly referring to physical abuse nor excluding it, but verbal abusiveness, emotional abuse, etc) I'd really appreciate just an outlook on the points I've mentioned above. Also, thank you guys for the knowledge you share - I believe you are making the world a better place. Thanks and God bless

I can't get enough. This is so building and the topics are so necessary. I love how you don't have the same view on everything yet differ so respectfully, I'm really learning. It's interesting how every episode really leaves me thinking a lot 😅 When you spoke about seasons where weaknesses are highlighted I feel like I got a relevation!!

I don't think there should be a curfew, out of love and respect for your partner, you would take their feelings into perspective. Your wife said it, a personal conviction towards your partner's feelings. And the church say Ament❤ Ps... He said it At the end😆..bravo 👏👏

I vouch for curfews also, especially for children! There are boundaries and set times to arrive at 9-5 jobs (as an example) and we follow them. As said, it should be a conviction. As women, this can work in conjunction with security and protection. For children, it helps with obedience, discipline, learning to adhere to authority and gradually as the child grows in maturity/readiness to extend privileges (definite distinction between adult and child / the same privileges do not apply nor is it appropriate - everything in season). A child may (depending on age) may not be ready for the responsibility that comes with no curfews. Pertaining to adults/married couples or partners, perhaps the word “curfew” has a negative/adolescent undertone. So, coming to an understanding is paramount. Again, to each it’s own and couples must have a meeting of the minds. I appreciate your sharing and transparency in topics to consider for discussion in marriage and preparation towards. Blessings!

I love going out... and my husband is the direct opposite. I automatically feel bad once I pass boma 8-9pm if it was not a planned outing. 12am i must be home unless we are together. These are not rules we set, I just hold myself to that knowing that I would expect the same.

I am learning so much from you guys, thank you guys for going into this uncomfortable topic of friends and thank you for being so raw about it. This is definitely a big one for me, one I myself struggle with, and I particularly like the point that Lerato made about honouring his wife despite his position. It is definitely a difficult one to navigate especially when the relationship is new. My take home: We can all be friends here mos 😅

@siphelelexulu38843 жыл бұрын
I agree with Lerato. I am extremely positive and trusting until something happen. If my partner is out with the friends. In case he is still having fun. He must enjoy himself, as long it's s not an every weekend. As long as I know where he is I sleep freely just like a baby. He must do the same with me. We are still individuals, independent it means that we can still enjoy our independence. Do not police each other. As long as we fair to each other I am good
@sumeiyaali56634 жыл бұрын
Thanks guys. Mrs Makhs knows her story hey! Married curfew, each one of us should be responsible enough to know what’s right and what’s not. Friends, I think yes, one can be friends with different sex (discipline and knowing who you’re and where you going and what you want in life)

I believe coming home in the morning is a luxury of a single life...Now that you are a married person please it's very important to shift with the season...It's now longer about what makes you feel good all the time...Be mindful about how the other person feels... Getting married comes with new responsibilities and a place for selflessness and wisdom.Thats why marriage is not for boys and girls.
@gomo85234 жыл бұрын
I fully agree with abuti Lerato on curfew based on the fact that his wife communicates her whereabouts. At the same time I hear aus Phetola, as long as the partner accounts. So that when the kids wake up mama knows what to say to the kids. Malalaphi a everyday'vryday aowa!
