This video was nothing but quality. You explained the cards and reasoning well, you provided well-timed images on screen, and you even provided prices for the budget-minded. This is exactly the deck I wanted to build as well. You've earned yourself a sub.
@SmugLookingBarrel8 жыл бұрын
One huge include that I think you made a mistake in overlooking: Prophetic prism. 2 mana, draws you a card, helps with fixing, but the best part? Stick mechanized production on it and you're drawing an extra card every turn and getting perfect fixing.
@Xillians8 жыл бұрын
I have been looking around and theorizing around clue decks, finding that mechanic really fun. This deck is the answer to what I was looking for! thank you!

sigarda's aid could also be a side board option so then you could flash in the production at their end step and then just win if you have the clues for it

Wedge chucked his machete at one of the four burglars. It cleaved right through his skull and next Wedge produced a AK-47 from his deck box and pumped 28 rounds of lead into my second assailant's stomach. Bits of flesh rained down as Wedge danced around in it, pirouetting with his new found chainsaw and turning the third robber to red confetti. The final man tried to run from his mana fueled attacker, but before he could reach the getaway car, Wedge reduced his life points from 20 to 0 with a RPG he had just made. As the smoke cleared, in my last moments, I saw Wedge coming towards me, like a holyangel type savour.

Congrats on this build! It's really slick, works great in test. I agree that Tireless Tracker is crucial to this deck, by far the most reliable, long term clue producer. So far, very good results against BG Delirium. Sure they can side Lost Legacy, but we can also side Battle at the Bridge to provide massive life gain and use flyer beatdown if the initial strategy is killed.

My friend did this type of deck before Aether Revolt's release, but he went Sultai to use Marionette Master as a win-con alongside general threats and Confront the Unknown. Called it "Solving the Mystery." It genuinely works against competitive decks.

This is such a funny deck. Just testing it out online, and the production is not the only winrate. You can actually produce that many clues, to use confront the unknown as a wincon. Your flying creatures can get to more than 20 or 30 power. Very nice deck, thaanks for the video.
@daltonsmith23318 жыл бұрын
there is also a clue combo with Briarbridge patrol and tamiyo's journal that lets you search your library for any creature, put it into your hand, and at the beginning of your end step put it down for free

I'm glad to see there's finally a deck that can run Confirm Suspicions. I'm curious enough to try this deck using Trail of Evidence. There seem to be enough Instants & Sorceries to make it worth while. Sigarda would also be an effective counter for Lost Legacy. Being able to play a 4/5 flier for 2 mana with Improvise would be fun.

Best thing is I have all these cards on hand just sitting in my trade binder so I just have to get my hands on the Production and this deck is a-go! Can't wait to bring it to FNM one day lol
@doriankromer1688 жыл бұрын
Is Tamio's Journal not a good include? It creates more clues and fetches the Production. And what about the aura tutor? It kinda seems risky on relying to draw a specific card.
@TheDemko8 жыл бұрын
But in a deck ENTIRELY based around clues, where card draw is basically ALWAYS available, it doesn't feel like tutors are necessary to complete the combo.
@yourfriendface8 жыл бұрын
Dorian Kromer It's a good search for Mechanized Production, but I feel like it is too costly and too inconsistent to do a 1 of.
@themanacurve34528 жыл бұрын
Christian Koury Yeah, I felt the same. I ran Open the Armory to tutor the Production and it has worked phenomenally! Also, anyone here love the fact that this can go on Cataclysmic and maybe turn into Bant Revolt to get a thing of yours to leave every turn?

@WrightJustice19918 жыл бұрын
A good note is that the Mechanized Production doesn't need to be on a clue to win; it can be cloning something else like the Inspiring Statuary as an aside but still win the game when it checks and you have 8 clues. Though the clues are still the most likely target in this version of the deck.
@barrywright41318 жыл бұрын
You could also use Tamiyo's Journal as a way to fetch Mechanized Production. Getting to 3 Clues is laughably easy with this deck.
@deolamitico8 жыл бұрын
but it is too heavy. maybe one copy, but 5 mana is a lot
@barrywright41318 жыл бұрын
My thought is that Inspiring Statuary would make it cheaper. Although the best you could do is ramp it into a turn 4 Journal. I certainly see your point.
@barrywright41318 жыл бұрын
Never Mind. A Friend of Mine just pointed out to me that Inspiring Statuary only provides Improvise for Non-Artifact Spells. Tamiyo's Journal is an Artifact. My friend just played Confirm Suspicions on me. I need Glasses.

No evolved wilds for the Tireless Tracker synergy? Also strictly better mtg put out a deck tech similar to this, but much much more expensive that put in x2 Panharmonicon, a playset of Verderous Gearhulk, a few Spell Quellers ect. I have the cards to make either deck. Which one do you think is stronger. Price doesn't always mean better. I will try both just wanting other peoples opinions.
@BKazunori8 жыл бұрын
clue is a subtype, not a name. Just like Servos. Gold in Theros would work, since the cards that create Gold tokens especially says that the token name will be Gold. But when you investigate, the cards says to put a clue on the battlefield, no an artifact name Clue. those cards lack the word "name" when summon a Clue. I may be wrong... but I'm just following the keywords

Ive pretty much been brewing and playtesting this exact deck since the pre-release. I tried inspiring statuary, but found it to be underwhelming in impact, considering how fast this format is, especially if you just play cards with improvise already in them. Spire of Industry is almost always live, so I play 3 of those. As for staying alive, graff mole has been surprisingly good. Him being a big booty blocker that gains obscene amounts of life. Playing the deck, Ive actually won more games by attacking with either a 1/3 or 2/3 flyer, and giving it +16/16 with confront the unknown than I have with Mechanized production.

Friend has a BUG version that uses mechanized production that copies Dynavolt tower and other nasty Spells and to produce energy and bolt people out of the game.
@Gandhiji878 жыл бұрын
Too slow. Mechanised production doesn't trigger dynavolt tower and you will have spent too much mana on stuff that doesn't do much. I would say such a deck is unplayable and will lose against u/b Control or green aggro every time
@slick_rickgaming11028 жыл бұрын
Richard Brorsson I disagree because the idea isn't to win of mechanized production but maintain the board state enough to benefit your favor. Think about it this way 1 attune with aether gets you 4 energy from 1 tower.
@Gandhiji878 жыл бұрын
Jeremy McNair That's a horrible deck. in that case you have played attune with Aether, dynavolt tower and mechanised production and only got some energy. That is painfully slow. I would say that's totally unplayable unless you are doing just for shits and giggles with your friend. It wouldn't win a single match against a real deck
