Glad you had a good time, I live 1 hour away but never been, still such good weather means it's most def taps aff like. Giving people golf balls that are blue and green to people is a tricky business this close to Glasgow, not to mention giving out the golf clubs first...:)

I'm one of the proudest Scots you could ever meet. The fact they call it "Scotland's THEME PARK" makes me embarrassed to be Scottish. It's just a run of the mill funfair that someone happened to permanently bolt to the ground.

Snap mate. I've been to the big actual theme parks down south and it doesn't even compare. Alton towers, Thorpe park, Chessington World of Adventures. Now they are what you call Theme Parks. M and D's is nothing but a glorified carnival.

I was at M&Ds a few days before you went. Its not a bad park. The Pirate ship ride used to be at Blackpool Pleasure Beach as Tidal Wave. Glad you had a good day in Bonnie Scotland

Their is deffintly potential for a park in Scotland hopefully a buyer is found and brings some investment to the area and changes it from a static fair to more of an immersive park. I think a new woodie would suit the park like at Tato park in Ireland

This is my local park. I just don't ride Tornado anymore the taller you are the worse! and I didn't ride it 2 weeks ago but I had a trip to Flamingo land and rode HERO though. Lol I think That is worse than Hero

13:29 that ride use to have a tarp that would civer all the cars half way. That's what those metal parts are for. Idk why the hell they aren't using it it makes the ride amazing. I can't believe any of them are left. They use to have one at chippewa lake

In Canada we call the Music Express the Polar Bear Express. The difference here is that the music is very loud and rocking, while a DJ asks if you want to go faster a few times, then there's a loud siren that goes off with the music making it an intense experience... oh and at night is the best with all the lights!

It has been a while since I''ve been to my local theme park. I've always enjoyed the indoor areas such as the bowling and Amazonia but the outdoor rides are quite rough. It is good to see the park finally repainting some rides and getting new ones though. But I do think they need to replace some older ones still especially Tornado - M&Ds specialise in travelling rides (they have a few big wheels) but I feel a permanent rollercoaster would bring in many people. I love that you enjoy where it is based, The park has many swing parks and even a beach and holds many events. I hope you can do more in Scotland, we have a few more fairs and amusement parks and I feel you could do many videos for TPW and your adventure channel. Glad you still had a good time here despite the ride closures and too hot weather!

I miss the flying carpets that were at Kennywood and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. They gave such great airtime. Six Flags New England had a flying carpet made by Huss, but that got removed for this season. There's still a portable model at Knoebel's, but the restraints are really painful.

Great vlog. Shame it was so hot. We were in Ocean Park in Hong Kong last May and it was absolutely roasting with 34 degrees. We only did the coasters to get the credits and some animal enclosures and after a few hours quickly went back to the hotel

A few interesting facts for you Shaun, the pirate ship was originally at pleasure beach form 1980 to 1996 then pleasure land southport from 1997 till closing. it was then transferred to m&d's in 2007. Also the magic carpet used to be at Towers back in the 80's as far as I am aware. The runaway mine train was originally constructed by barbisan and was a spinning coaster called jamming. It is believed it was originally situated at frontierland, then appeared at M&d's a few times in the early 2000's, in 2007 it was refurbished by fabbri and converted to the mine train , so hence the unique layout. It used to be situated across from the mad mouse but then moved to the spot that tsunami occupied in 2017 M&d's is my local park and I have a lot of interesting facts, so if you would like to know more let me know.

To be honest M&Ds was really popular in the 90s but since then it hasn’t Aged well they really need to use the £3 million on refurbishing the park instead of new costers and stages
