Always cracks me up when rides and people say the sub is 20,000 leagues down. It's the DISTANCE travelled in the novel, not the depth. If it was depth, they would be (impossible) 70,000 miles down :D

I'm Japanese who love this theme port. When boarding a submersible, always pay close attention to the top of the observation window. The movement of the depth finder and oxygen gauge makes it seem like we are truly submerged in the ocean. Have fan!

Rode it two weeks ago. I think I love the ride because of the joystick light.

Have you ridden "Rise of the Resistance?" Because while this ride is amazing, "Rise" just blows it and everything else out of the water in just about every way.

A submersible full of volunteers getting lost at the bottom of the ocean after losing communication. I've heard this story before.

I found out, unlike Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, we are not actually underwater. Nice way to prevent cases of submechaniphobia

Technically, most of what you see in Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage isn’t underwater either

@@LMGVids are you sure about that?

Loading: This might work in Japan, but even with the cast members blocking you, the open loading of this ride seems like an accident waiting to happen for little kids, or even the cast members themselves. Unless that trench with water is not really a trench with water. 😂 I think in the U.S. fences would have to be in place with gaps that line up with doors. On ride: It’s a very convincing illusion of being under water though.
@timothyvandebilt52188 ай бұрын
The trench is only 10-20 cm deep. It would be almost impossible to drown
@gregg59588 ай бұрын
@@timothyvandebilt5218 Oh I didn’t say anything about drowning. I’m talking about falls and injuries. Broken arms. That sort of thing.

Don't get me wrong, it's amazing. However, as advanced as this one is nothing can capture the feeling of being underwater like actually being underwater like the older versions.

I would love to get on this.

Does this ride actually go underwater
@TheNotoriousBTG8 ай бұрын
It does not. There's basically water between a few panes of glass that are looking out, giving the illusion that you are underwater.

No just think about it. What if the ride actually broke down. Do you expect people to swim in order to evacuate?
