That was your best talk yet. You hit the nail right on the head as to where I am in the hobby. Looking forward to your upcoming build videos.

I always enjoy the shop talks, Ben. Even if you don't feel you have much to say in depth, it's always nice to see how you're doing and how your projects are coming along in between the other videos.

Well put Ben, it is all about the enjoyment and for me time to relax from the stress of life. When selecting the next project I tend to think of how I can get variations between the projects, and get that vision into reality. If I open up the box and see that the quality is bad, then I throw it away. Why bother when you know it will only be a headache… it will just end up on the shelf with all other “will not do” projects anyway. Hope you had a good birthday celebration btw 🎉😁🍾

Totally agree Ben I would also point out that sites like scalemates providing linage of molds and production are very valuable to me at least.

I’m with you on buying kits that are going to give a great building experience. I have enough to keep me busy, so when I see a subject that I would like to do but there isn’t a great kit of it, I am willing to wait until someone does.

I tend to get too many kits going at once. I'm working on a 1/32 Tamiya P-51. A 1/16 Andy's M4A3-E8 and a Tamiya 1/24 AMG GT3. I enjoy your channel very much!

Ben, I would like to see a model company bring out an F111-c in 1/32 scale.

I totally agree with you, but I also want to be challenged too. Quality kits are good, but I need kits with a higher part count. A lot of the Revell kits are good, but the kits are really low part counts. I like to build cars, and a lot of kits now more than ever before are "curb side" kit. They have very little if any undercarriage detail, and no engine details. I'm having trouble finding good automotive models that fit that criteria.

I hear you. There are some Tamiya car kits out there though, that still have some great detail.

I know that trumpeter made the matv in 1/16th scale I was so disappointed that it had zero detail like their other 1/16 vehicles I tried a rye field models matv in 1/35 scale it went together so nice and had so much detail I have been going back and forth on my next model I want to try trumpeters 1/48 German u boat or try my hand at a zoukie mura

Zoukei Mura models go together like you would hope a model kit should. All the seams are on panel lines. Detail is great, but the detail can look a little soft on some things. Definitely worth it though.
