I did my first attempt with you, when you arranged that pacing ride with "Dontgetdroppedcycling" and it was a great experience. I was 80 kg back then, and did 72 minutes something. So with the way you train and shed weight, you will get that sub 60 - I'm sure about it. I myself probably never will. I was pretty much just below my FTP of 320 for the duration and to do sub 60 i need to hold approx 370w which is a big jump in power. I might just stick to sprinting ;). I hope you get the sub 60 :)

As Ryan can't explain them, can someone help me find "climbing gears" in Zwift? I assume we're not taking about trainer difficulty?
@RyanCondon7 күн бұрын
I can explain enough to say that I'm not referring to trainer difficulty. The gearing setup is also not through Zwift but through my Wattbike app. My wattbike allows me to change my virtual gearing settup from "racing" to "climbing" within their own app. When I do this and then connect to Zwift, the gears are setup with a much wider range for climbing. I dont know what trainer you use, I also dont know if other trainers offer this.
@FoobsTon6 күн бұрын
@@RyanCondon Ah, got you. I was all over the app trying to find those gears. Yeah, a wider gear range will sure help with the spinning. Don't get too used to it though if you're planning on getting through Simon Warren's book. UK hills are so short and steep that the ability to grind is actually what you need here!
