finally, everything is making sense. harkness and hayward both desire power, but their objectives and their means to those objectives are entirely different. hayward sees the vision as the most technologically advanced weapon ever created, and wants to control that weapon for himself. he fears wanda maximoff, sees her as both dangerous and uncontrollable, and clings to the hope that somehow he can kill her. harkness doesn't give a damn about the vision. she sees in wanda maximoff a witch of unfathomable power. like hayward, she fears the scarlet witch, but unlike hayward, she believes she can both understand and control her. the vision we've been following so far can't leave the hex because he was never brought into it in the first place. he was born of it, is a part of it, and cannot exist without it. it's likely that billy and tommy are the same.

Hayward tracking the "decaying vibranium" was another strong misdirect there though too. It gave credence to idea she had infact taken it ...turns out, hes likely tracking the faux-branium Wanda apparently created (which makes sense seeing as actual vibranium doesn't decay lol) Explains why he couldn't leave the Hex ...does create questions about those kids though, who I'm pretty sure I heard Harkness claim are created by Wanda like Vision (not real kids! ...or pulled chunk of Mephisto from Multiverse for their creation)

@@sobr4986 It's possible that real vibranium does decay, just with a very long half-life; I can't imagine they would have known to track the decay patterns if they didn't know what Hex Vision was made of. I think the whole point of the reveal in this episode is that Hex Vision is, at least physically, identical to real Vision, because Wanda is capable of creating things out of nothing. Remember: Vision *did* leave the hex, and stood a few feet outside it. He didn't just drop dead there, or disappear. He didn't even disintegrate or dust. He was being pulled back into the hex piece-by-piece. But he did exist and survive outside the hex itself.

@@IceMetalPunk Vibranium is space rock that crashed here more than a millennia ago, and is claimed indestructible. I can't imagine it's decaying, and I can't imagine Wanda can actually create it. But whatever And Vision didnt actually make it outside the Hex. His cape was still attached, and as soon as it let go, he collapsed to the ground. It also let go by dusting, as he himself was doing slowly. But also, what we're calling the Hex here is just the physical wall, while Woo indicated in Ep 4 that the energy of the hex extends beyond that physical barrier. Houses often have walls a foot or more inside the property line, the Hex seems it may be similar. Vision didnt make a single non-connected step outside of it even though it's energy can be felt at least about 20 feet away by Woo Then, Wanda didnt know Vision was outside the Hex at the time, Billy has to tell her. And we know Agatha wanted Vision to leave, she set that up. So if its not Wanda or Agatha pulling him back in, what is? It has to be the energy of the place itself, as though it won't let him leave regardless what the people in control want. Other things can enter and exit without issue, he can't. He was created in it (after it went up) and seems dependent on it So I just don't see that we have anything indicating he would survive outside. Maybe, but seems unlikely based off what we've seen Oh, and episode 2 with the Big Red bit may have told us that no, this Vision is not like the real Vision at all.

My thought: When Agatha connected with the other witches, she absorbed their life force. Wanda, when she destroyed Vision's stone in Infinity War, maybe she absorbed his soul? So when she had her breakdown in this episode, she basically reconstituted his soul (which is why he can't leave the Hex zone). So that is why Hex Vision has no memories: Memories are tied to the body, but the soul is something different (consciousness). Vision's body has no soul currently. So I bet in the end, she will find a way to put his soul back into the body and resurrect Vision.

Witches have crowns. You can see Wanda’s crown when she interacts with the Mind Stone. Which of course looks like her comic book costume. So the most powerful have a crown but Aganths doesn't which means she wants to reach that level. lol I'm thinking of Ben 10 with Charmcaster who had a crown at one point. She wore purple. When Wanda tells Vision about drowning in her grief & then Vision says the most beautiful & profound, “What is grief, if not love persevering,” you see Agatha wipe away a tear. I believe that was real & she's grieving for someone herself. And I think that's what drew her to Wanda... she needs a very powerful magic to bring someone back (possibly from another universe).

Damn, WandaVision is my favorite Marvel thing ever, no question about it. First, I’m so happy Marvel didn’t make Wanda’s mental state a joke, or deal with it for 5 minutes and move on. depression and grief aren’t something you just get over so fast. It changes people. Second, this show had the absolute best explanation I could have ever hoped for to explain Wanda’s powers and what is going with Westview. So as I understand, Blue magic is most likely good, purple is evil, and red was supposed to be a myth. Choas magic by the one who would be known only as the Scarlet Witch. Damn that is so good. Marvel and Kevin Fiege are god damn geniuses. Third, the performances in this episode were amazing. Kathryn Hahn is legit terrifying as Agatha Harkness and I’m so happy Marvel didn’t make her the evil mastermind behind everything. I think she is already one of the best MCU villains, right up there with Killmonger and Thanos. And Elizabeth Olsen is just incredible. Give her all the Oscars right now!

Great episode and Agatha backstory. In a nutshell, the white Vision is a nod to the “Spectral Vision” storyline in the comics, simplified down Fiege style to fit the MCU/WV -SWORD“ Project Cataract” narrative of the story. While both versions of Vision are sentient, the white or “Spectral Vision” contains no emotions or memories, hence why SWORD’S dismantling and rebuilding of the vision body was only to weaponize it and have it under SWORD’s control. Correct. Astral vision will have ultrons voice. Which sets wanda off. Vision then sacrifices himself to protect wanda and realizes he's not real so he can't really help. But wanda uses her chaos magic to battle astral vision and dr. Strange shows up to vanish him. Episode ends.

I think the revelation that Wanda had her magic all along, makes me believe that the X Gene was always there. And maybe when the ones who have the gene come in contact with an Infinity Stone, it amplifies or emerges. In Endgame , Rocket said that the Snap caused a cosmic surge throughout the world so maybe that’s how they’ll introduce mutants manifesting powers.

Again and again, this episode was AMAZING and SAD. I was crying so hard the whole time when the words TO GROW OLD IN with V came in. She had planned everything for the both of them, a place where they can stay until they grow old, which now will never happen. Also when she said I CAN'T FEEL YOU that somehow relates to infinity war before they were attacked, when she told Vision while touching the stone on his forehead I JUST FEEL YOU. *cries heavily again* Her emotions here, it moved me so much oh my god Elizabeth's acting is W-O-W. This is the first show, fantasy themed, that made me cry hard. Usually it's those real life sad movies that does this to me. This is just so beautiful oh my god. Then when she released that huge amount of power, exploding, bro my eyes went hugeee like woaaahhhhhhh! The stronger her emotions are, the powerful she is. THIS IS THE BEST SERIES YA'LL. Since Wanda already had powers even from the very beginning, and the mind stone just made her waayyyy powerful (not give her powers), how did the mindstone have a connection with a scarlet witch?? Does it mean that there are scarlet witches before her??

The moment that she opened that deed and broke down I went from misty eyed to full blown tears. As someone lost both my mom and then my home within a month of each other I know the exact pain Wanda is going through. That impossible anger and pain that is like a black hole just sucking in any light and hope around you.

As someone who has a love for the horror genre, this episode was great and did a good job with the creepiness and supernatural aspects. Marvel is great, but seeing the opening with the witches and having a character like Agatha has made it even better. This episode and series has made me more excited for Marvel dabbling with the superhero horror genre.

Hayward was painting Wanda as a villain to manipulate Monica. I'm pretty sure Hayward's goal all along was to find a way to reanimate Vision. I think that's why he cruelly antagonized Wanda with Vision's corpse. A lot of people who lived through the 5 years of the blip were damaged by the experience. We would expect some government agencies to cut a lot of moral corners in the name of defense.

I think Wanda is a Nexus being, That's why she could deactivate the bomb by the probability hex , in comics nexus beings can do probability hex. And the stone amplified her power to another level. what she saw when the stone explode is her true self i think.

I'm thinking that Vision bought an actual house before the blip but it was abandoned for 5 years and was torn down. So once again Wanda's future was destroyed before she was able to reach it. Also, the white vision is a reference to the West Coast Avengers comic and it's basically a soulless version of vision with no memories. My theory is that Hayward has a working version of Vision's body and Wanda basically recreated his soul so perhaps the two could merge in the finale and Vision could be back permantley.

Agatha had to make Wanda go back to revisit her past in order to explore how she unlocked her powers. Which started out when Wanda unknowingly cast a probability hex which cease the Stark bomb from detonating. Which also led to how she unlock the Sceptre which reveal the mind stone yet tap into the Nexus realm where she caught a glimpse of her future self or the powerful being with chaos magic.

I think the figure that appeared in the mind stone is Wanda as a Nexus being, it’s like the stone was showing her who she is/destined to be and unlocked her full potential.

I found it interesting that the series of "commercial breaks" that we saw in the WandaVision show correlated one-to-one with the stages of Wanda's life as revealed by Agatha.

Notice it was two steps. First she created just the House. THEN only after that did she lose control and take over the whole town. WestviewVision is Mind Stone Energy and her SuperEgo. White Vision is basically Ultron Light, which means it won't surprise me if James Spader's voice shows up, since that might be what Vision would have sounded like without Jarvis.

This episode combined two aspects of Scarlet Witch's convoluted backstory. First is that if she was born with her magical abilities, then technically, she's a mutant. Second is that it seems, like in the comics, she is descended from a line of powerful witches.
