My mom had a children's book that Fred wrote after his time on . She lost it in a move as a child; I found a copy of the book at a book sale four years ago and bought it for $0.50. I gave it to her for her birthday, and she burst into tears, asking me where I got it. I told her I'd found it at the book sale I was at and how much it cost and she was stunned. Come to find out, she'd written her name on the first page when she was a child, and what had made her cry was that when she opened the book, and looked at the first page, it was her signature staring back at her.

The Munsters will I think be in RE-runs for 100 years it is timeless and entertaining with out filth.

This episode really shows how much expression Fred Gwynne could provide, without the burden of all that makeup. If he didn't have that, Herman Munster would not have been nearly as much fun to watch. He really made the character something special.
