Salt Bread
INGREDIENTS
1 lb 4 02 Flour
2 tsp Instant Yeast
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 oz Shortenings Fat
8 oz Water
METHOD
1. Mix all dry ingredients together and rub in the fat
2. Add water and knead into a ball
3. Place in a bowl and cover with plastic or a kitchen towel and set aside for 2 hours or until double in size
4. Cut dough into required size and shape; let proof until double in size and bake at 350F
5. A small strip of coconut frond (leaf) may be placed on top of each ball for decoration.
