Amazing talent . .both singers possesses awesome voice control, Clear pronunciation though Mr. Madhu's mother tongue is Malayalam. Kerala has been continuously churning out talents over the decades ...never short of golden voices emerging every now and then. Thendrale Ennai Thodu (Greatest hit in 1980's), I hope recorded in Prasad Deluxe Theatre, 16 track (not sure) which was fully upgraded for Isai gyani Ilayaraja. I still can recall, listening this movie song in Sony Walkman, wow it was, even though not digital music.

Composing with lesser notes is easier than with more notes. In Hindustani music Bilawal rag has 7 notes , both Arohan and avarohan, where Ma is flat. While a rag like Bupali has 5 shudha notes both arohan and avarohan. For beginners, bupali is preferred.
