I have this afghan that my friend's mother was crocheting, and i just learned how to do granny square, thank you, but her crochet stitches look different, more intricate. I don't know what it's called. Im looking at your videos to spot it. It looks like the yarn was braided like gimp, or something before she made this huge granny square. 🤔 Your videos are great. Im new and i love them. Thank you so much.

This is my very first Granny square. I've been sticking with little projects here and there and told myself I wouldn't get stressed trying to make a blanket. Your video was awesome. You kept at an easy pace, which made it easier to remember how to do each round correctly. Some tutorials tend to stop yap it up between stitches, which throws beginners off and confuses them as to where they left off. At least for me it does. I'm going to use this tutorial to make the squares for my blanket. I'm in no rush, so I will do a couple squares a day then put it away. Otherwise, my anxiety will get the best of me and I'll give up. Thank you for the video. 💕🌻💜🌼🌷
