My favorite is the DW Strikeforce Opening. Though it's just a spin-off, the 1V1 sequence looks so astonishing. And I agree with your Number 1 too.

The top 3 were exactly where I woulda placed them! The DW5Empires intro is so awesome, actually everything from the DW5 era is dope and DW3 ALWAYS got me hyped to play. I always watched it when I would load the game in; I'm glad to see it on the list. And of course DW5 is iconic.

DW 8 XL intro was amazing, as a Lu Bu fan (and glazer), it was amazing seeing Lu Bu's forces be the main focus of the intro, but imo, it got cut too short when it was already getting good with Lu Bu riding the tsunami that he created towards Cao Cao

I love all of these, but there is one I’d add to the honorable mentions, and that’s Strikeforce. It starts out so intimately with just Zhao Yun and Lu Bu dueling in a darkened room, then the Flaming Cockroach of Doom hurls our favorite spearman through the wall and it just EXPLODES into light and color and the Fury forms and the animated gate and the gigantic battle we all love to see. Strikeforce can get a bit tedious, but mackerel holy was this opening badass!

This one is for the unnecessary hate DW6 got over the years just because...it was different than the ones we played before 😂 Lots of players out there (myself included) enjoy that game and you simply can't deny the fact that the intro is absolutely fantastic⚡️KOEI somehow topped it with DW Strike Force's intro (which I always consider to be DW6 ver. 2) ⭐️

Love a good Nightowl video I’m not mad at this list honestly, I don’t know all the intros I think for me my top 5 from current memory would have to be 1. DW5 2. DW6 3. DW7XL 4. DW6E 5. DW8XL But this would probably change quickly if I were to go back and watch them all but I don’t think by much

I was expecting DW5 Empires to be number one because everything on that is 10 out of 10. And I still think DW5 Empires had a better opening than DW5, maybe I'm biased since I'm also a fan of RoTK and Nobunaga's Ambition, so I'm drawn to the strategical thing we don't have at DW main games, but dude... Storytelling with the clip showing what you get on an empires game. Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi representing the planning stage while Guan Yu/Zhang Liao represent the battle. Zhuge Liang drawing the battle formation while the soldiers do the formation. They both conjuring sorcery... GUAN YU STARING DOWN AT SIMA YI'S MAGICAL FIRE LIKE A FUCKING GOD OF WAR AND THEN ZHANG LIAO AND GUAN YU JUMP INSIDE ZHUGE LIANG'S MAGICAL TORNADO AND DUEL INSIDE OF IT! And the song... The initial gongs and then the fucking rock and roll..
