My brother died about a month-and-a-half ago after this was posted. When I showed up at his deathbed, my earliest childhood friend, Jonathan, was there. He worked for The Stones as a 'roadie' a few times. There are photos of Keith Richards and my brother, arms around each other's shoulders, big smiles on their faces. I've been listening to that a lot recently, 'As Tears Go By', and thinking of my brother.

Actually, it was a year-and a few months-after this was posted. My brother died in March of 2019. He received a phone call from Keith Richards in the late fall of '18, a few weeks before he discovered he had stage-4 cancer. He spent a lot of time at Keith's house during the 90s, and early 2000s, so he knew Theodora and the rest of the family. His name was Charlie. My brother was a very good guitarist, and singer/songwriter, but he was also a fairly good drummer, too.

@@annbugbee5623 : That reminds me of an old girlfriend of mine: The first time I ever saw this woman, I was on stage at some club in Connecticut (the year was 1976), and I was singing a song called-'Confessin The Blues'-which I had learned from The Stones' "12X5" album. The bass player that evening (who was in my brother's band for many years) would later join Aerosmith after their regular bass player, Thomas, came down with THROAT CANCER! I lost contact with her for many years, until my older sister encountered her in a church in Florida.

Steve Jones (guitar hero !!!) has so many interesting guests and Theodora seems very nice. Keith (guitar hero par excellence - the ultimate 'Elegantly Wasted' rocker of coarse - maybe not so much these days - thankfully !! Anyway - love how she says 'if you can be ok on your own - you can be good with anyone' - I like that quote - and fully agree with it. Went to Keith's house in West Wittering, Sussex in UK - many years ago - lovely old (big but not hugely ostentatious - typically Keith) spent most of the time talking to his gardener - who's father was the inspiration for Jumpin Jack Flash - cos of his big feet - lovely guy - I've never forgotten his kindness. Keith was great - his son Marlon wasn't a particularly nice kid as I remember (sorry !! I'm sure he's nice today)

- and I remember him waving a powerful (& somewhat dangerous) air pistol around rather menacingly - got the feeling he wanted to shoot either me - or my band mates - luckily he didn't (thanx for not shooting me Marlon) Keith had a Dalmatian called Tabasco (after the hot sauce) and he jumped in our car - nicked a big pork pie off the front seat - jumped into the back seat & dropped the pie into a tissue box that was full of Jamaican grass - so along with his saliva the pie had all this v strong grass over it and by the time we'd got him out of the car (none of this was at all deliberate - purely accidental - don't believe in giving drugs to animals- so oops !!) most of the grass had been scoffed by the dog - we kept schtum - but the gardener was puzzled when Tobasco came a lay down with very bloodshot eyes - with me thinking 'oh shit !!!' & the gardener saying 'what's up with the dog ??' - 'he's not usually this lethargic ??' - I felt like a right fool. I also remember the local -
