The Tropical Surges are actually made by Brunswick 😅

@@bunker5696Storm uses the production capacity of Brunswick’s plant in Mexico. Engrave Storm’s logo - that's it. The Tropical Surges even have the little sticker on it which says "Made in Mexico".

I have been using the Twist and doing quite well with it. I play two-handed and I'm on the slow side. High end balls hook too much for me and I have to stand far left. With the twist I can throw it down 15-16 and hit the pocket. It is easy to control. I just purchased the Rhino Pearl as a step up but, after one practice today, it was too strong for me and I had to stand far left again, which I wanted to get away from. And because that ball has a low hook potential, even when I hit the pocket from far left, it tended to be light. What I should have purchased as a step up from the Twist was the Tropical Surge (it seems to have a little more hook potential than the Twist). Now I have to buy another ball. I prefer weaker balls that I can throw relatively straight and get them to hook based on how I release the ball. Most of my highest scores (260s-270s are with "entry level" balls). Wish I saw this video before I bought the Rhino, but I hope to be able to use that in league after some more practice with it.

@@brigham2250 have you tried taking a step back on your approach? But yes, I have the same problem. Can't seem to throw as fast with 2 hands

what were you thinking with the layouts on both the balls? it looked like they were drastically different.

2 hand ball reviews don’t make sense. They can make anything hook n strike

If you’re a good bowler you can make a house ball hook one handed like I used to.

Old man that hooks a 13# ball pretty good here. I've drilled many of both of these balls including 14# & the Twist is definitely weaker than the Trop Surge.

Work on your game. Tons of high rev one handed players. Cup your wrist and you'll feel the difference immediately

I stopped watching once I saw 2 hands on the ball. It’s like getting golf advice from someone that uses a driver to putt.

awful lot of pros with two hands on the ball though.

Half the PBA top 10 including the best bowler in the world are 2H. Every single 2 hander on tour would smoke you in a game even if they could only use 1 hand lol.

Strikes are strikes ball motion is ball motion. You can look at another bowlers style and assume where that ball would work for you especially if you know the details of the equipment
