Shame on you for promoting this barbaric “food” choice. Did the potatoes have a choice? No, they did not. Most of the potatoes in this country are from factory farms. They are immobilized in dirt, and force fed nutrients from the surrounding soil. They are raised in crowded conditions, and the only freedom from confinement they get is a few moments when they are bathed, and readied for packaging. Then, they are corralled in plastic with other potatoes they may not even know, and shipped to be sold to those who will slaughter and eat them. It is truly an unconscionable process.

@Lemilie Жыл бұрын
Honestly can't believe the misinformation that was spread 2 years ago. To anyone reading it these days; no, apart from that one outbreak in the 60s, factory potatoes have never and still do not contain tuberculosis. Factory potatoes, albeit with slightly less flavour are there for mass consumption. Do note that eating the bone of any raw potato is still highly poisonous. Carrots do still have a small chance of TB if unvaccinated though

As good as bone-in potatoes are baby potatoes are just mouthwatering. And if you really want to make them tender and juicy feed them lots of butter and sour cream and make sure you let your children keep them as pets for a few weeks while they fatten up.. This legitimately has piqued my interest in preparing potatoes as if they're meat. Maybe there's even some combination of temperature and cooking time that will produce a less flakey, vaguely meat-like texture. Then it's just a matter of handling the oncoming diabetes from the combination of pure starch and bbq sauce.

Try cutting potatoes chip style, but way thicker, like the thickness of a burger. Then season, add Worcester (sp?) sauce and some butter over a stove at low-medium heat, maybe put it on a sandwich? In the intro he says "welcome back". To the podcast, I guess. Unspecified. But then the detective show plays and finishes. And host says " welcome back" again? Maybe...welcome back to the present, from 70 years ago? I figure welcome backs per show should be 1. Shrug.

It was cold soviet winter and the conditions were perfect to find one gathering food to store for long soviet winter going into soviet spring, with my kalash in hand and his ppsh we thought it would be no issue taking on a group of potatoes with strong Russian weapons, yet we were wrong. When we went to kill them before they could spread imperialist idea of capitalism we did not expect their ferocity and durability. My father fell at the hands of the potato and he had said to me “Dimitri my son, it is up to you now. Show them slavic might, or die trying.” I cannot remember the rest but Sergei tells me my babushka and I were to have plenty vodka for many year.
