The show requires more scenes resembling the small council meetings in Game of Thrones. The story currently lacks the intrigue and political maneuvering expected from the Aes Sedai, with the exception of Lyandrin who isn't plotting all that much she is just a traitor. I haven't felt a sense of the Aes Sedai actively "plotting" or politically engaging in factional dynamics beyond Lyandrin's involvement.

Yes, I miss that part of the books too. It is what makes Aes Sedai so intrigueing after all...

@@leza4453 Yeah, sadly I don't know if we will get much of it, given how they are limited to 8 episodes a season. I just don't get how they build all these sets hire and actors and all that but can't film 2-3 extra episodes

That's one of the reasons I'd love to see the Salidar 6 👀 hopefully we see it on Elaida's side as well.

I think Elaida will replace Siuan early in season 3, not at the end or even season 4. Another end of season plot twist could be the return of the seanchan, but that’s more likely for a later season, I guess. For end of season 3 it’s also possible that the resurrection of one or more forsaken is revealed, like Moridin, Aran’gar, etc.

I think season 3 will beguin with the black Ajah heist on the white tower that will also result in Siuan being replaced by Elaida. I also bet that Calandor plotline will be transferred to Rhuidean. End of TSR looks too much like the end of season 2 in story beats(the prophesized hero being announced), so we will probably have some Fires of Heaven plotlines in season 3

I think the end scene will setup the Stone of Tear and have a meeting of the Forsaken within the Heart of the Stone discussing a trap for Rand, the final shot being a pan upward to Callandor floating above them.

The Taim reveal is my favourite from the options you presented. I'm scared it would already paint him an antagonist. I think siuan might be deposed earlier in the season because of the 8 seasons constraint.

Spoilers: . . . . . When Taim first showed up, I immediately believed him to be an antagonist. I didn't trust him AT ALL. It made me more interested in him. I don't think him being antagonistic in the show would be terrible.

The most interesting characters in the show have been the Forsaken. Releasing them all at once allows new possibilities.

There are 14 books, not 13... but I think S8 will cover both. Also think Dumais will be delayed until S5 unless Taim starts the BT in S3

I hope the showrunners follow you as there are some good ideas here. The show is poorest when they make up their own plots. The Moraine troupe became TV's slog. Amazon can make excellent true to book adaptations such as Bosch and Reacher, while still making the necessary changes for the type of media.

I've been thinking a lot about the biggest book plot points that could fit into 8 seasons and I think it means that to get those moments to connect to one another in the shortened amount of time, they have to rework most of the connecting bits. I don't envy the writers room but it's a fascinating puzzle. I doubt they are looking at little ol me 😆 but would love to be a fly on the wall when they are connecting all the dots.

The first two things are not twists because the are both already confirmed in some way. Rafe said tower coup is happening S3, and couladin is also confirmed
