I still think Roger had the nika fruit, he got to laugh tale and found out it wasn’t time and it made him sick. I think everything he did, starting the pirate era ect was the fruits influence on him. Joyboy is luffy. Roger and rayleigh knows ace is going to die, thats why rayleigh didnt help save ace and was just watching the broadcast in saobody. Multiple timelines, garp also knows thats why he wanted luffy and ace to be marines to be the leader of sword and overthrow the corrupt world government and free the world and also so ace would be alive in this timeline. When dragon found out about the world he is accumulating power to help luffy. Roger pirates was laughing when they reach laughtale because the treasure one piece is actually rogers straw hat. I've only just thought of this now so it's likely someone else has already covered this, but I'm wondering if Imu wasn't the one who used the ancient weapons excessively to flood the world. We of course haven't seen most of the One Piece world, but it's interesting that we've only seen two holes in the ocean thus far, one of which being Enies Lobby and the other where Lulusia used to be. We know the sea has risen ridiculously high over time, and that these holes in the ocean wouldn't be simply filled up each time an ancient weapon is used, so why haven't we seen more holes across the world? What if Pluton/Poseidon also are able to raise the sea level, but in different ways that don't leave holes in the sea? It would be very interesting if Joyboy's faction were the ones to flood the world even more so than Imu and the World Government.

If zoan type devil fruits have a will of their own. What if the plan of Ace eating the nika fruit was altered by the fruit itself? Ace hated being the son of Rodger. Actively spoke about mental/existential issues. He also is very confused and feels that he not only has a place in the world, but no purpose either. However, Luffy was a spunk free spirited kid with nothing but adventure in his heart. He also was a daredevil plus had that never say die spirit. Gave 0 thought into what people thought about him, basically the perfect host. Imu was either in love with Lily and he doesn't truly want to destroy the cause she betrayed the World Government for. I unfortunately feel this theory can’t fully be true because Nika was all about Liberation, and the Elders had slaves. I think Joyboy tried to get the fish men and mermaids closer to the sun, aka Nika, so that they could party. Imu, and the 20 kingdoms would continue to run to higher land to avoid drowning. This confused Joyboy who was likely a shandoran or lunarian and had wings, but also knew he could live in the clouds by the sun. He likely used Poseidon many times trying to get them closer to people, and the people would retreat until finding ancient weapons of nika, just like Joyboy . Using the mother flame, as well as fire from an awaken flame fruit user, the lunarians, they managed to fight back, but the ocean kept rising. Not seeing it as a fight, but the people helping, Joyboy kept going too causing a forever war that only one side knew they were fighting. Lily knew of Joyboy ignorance, and tried to warn Imu, but after drowning likely because of her fruit, in a rage, Imu kept going. After being so close to the top, the fish men, mermaids, and everyone looked and saw how little land was left. They, along with Joyboy felt bad for what they did, causing an even larger rift between sea people and land people, while other sea people felt it was only right after years away from the sun. This caused humans to retaliate, and imprison/inslave the sea people. The sea people sought JoyBoy to free them however, in shame of how ignorance of universal freedom blinded him, he fled, and waited to die, hoping the future would bring a new joy and a new boy to save them

I think dragon is in on some sort of prophecy about luffy ever since luffy was saved from buggy. Also, speaking about dreams and freedom. Are we sure that the straw hats dreams must be fulfilled? I still cant understand. How is it that something that punches a hole inwards, makes the sea rise. We see in lulusia that the water goes, inside the hole. Is it possible that the hole never gets filled and the water goes back to the sea? Sengoku was speaking only to a group of Marines, about a topic that the government probably forbade him from talking about entirely. If Sengoku wanted to keep the true events a secret… why even reveal it in the first place? Literally NO ONE KNEW about them. No one was asking about them. He didn’t need to tell anyone. And conversely, if the World Government wanted to frame Rocks as a villain, why erase him from history? So either Sengoku himself was fed a false version of the story, or he’s biased. But I do not think this was a lie the World Government concocted because… well, the World Government literally doesn’t want anyone talking about it ever in the first place. They have no reason to come up with propaganda because they’re not even supposed to mention it.

In Fishman Island, Shyarly prophesied that Luffy would destroy Fishman Island. We all thought that it would never happen but after listening to this amazing theory, maybe that might be what Luffy chooses to do. By destroying the Red Line, he would inevitably destroy Fishman Island therefore unflooding the world. My own thoughts:)

The plan was to make Ace eat the nika fruit. When Ace meet him, it was late already anyways. But you are right in one point. When they met, Shank probably didn't know Ace was Roger's son. What's more interesting is, how the hell did the navy find out Ace's bloodline? I assume, Garp somehow spitted it to Sengoku, like he did in water 7, when he said Luffy is Dragon's son. 😂

What if the one piece was actually a drain lead like in a bath tub and puling it would drain the oceans and gather the entire world, its continents and islands together and make the world... "One piece" ??? D could stand for "Drain" and only those could drain the ocean Would make sense that Luffy as the rubber boy would pull it and regret his choice and end up closing the lead with his own body :D Could it be that luffy is just a boy playing in a bathtub and one of his parents and telling him stories while he's being cleaned up? D could also be that the boy is Dirty, so he has to take a bath, just like his father and mother, and whole family. Luffy in gear 5 seems to be a boy with soap bubbles all over him too! Another crazy thing is that while in the "Zou Arc" there are two leaders of the of the mink tribe: Duke Inuarashi (also called the "Ruler of Day") and Master Nekomamushi (also called the "Ruler of Night") and there relationship might foreshadow the relation ship between "Sun god" and "Moon god".
