Can we all just agree that Theory of a Deadman is one of the most underrated rock bands? However, they had beautiful songs, and this is my favorite

Yes this Rock band is truely heavily underrated like many other modern Rock bands of the 2000's I only discovered them by pure luck, because I found out that a girl who I liked back then listened to this band (she mentioned them in her Twitter profile), that's how I discovered this band in the first place. So I consider myself very lucky to even discover this band that way... or else I would never have found them at all... I still listen to their songs in 2022, more than 15 years later... and will always continue to do so in the future... this band influienced my young adulthood life, together with many other Rock and Metal bands from the 2000's era. TOAD is a good mix of some Southern Rock/Country, Hard Rock, modern Alternative Rock with Post-Grunge and heavy emotional feelings.

My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Myles, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life.

I'm so sorry for your loss! It says this was posted a year ago, but I wanted to reach out anyway. They say " time heals everything" but I find that to be untrue... time just makes it easier to cope, because you have time to find out the different ways to make it easier for you. 1 year later , I know for a fact, is still so hard! My sister passed a couple years ago, my mother passed this June, and it's been a tough road, so I know how you feel. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here

Don't matter what people say, the alternative rock and post-grunge ballads are truly amazing songs, dispite of the intention of selling. And this song is one or the greatest rock ballads I ever heard. I think this is the best song of Theory of a Deadman Reminds me when I was in love with my best girlfriend. I give her everything, but she never pay attention to me. This song reminds me so much of her. And even we still been friends and I have a new love still crying to this song.

It hurts to have the words to this song be so true. I've been married 17 years and can't ever make this man happy, gave him 5 kids, run his whole business, the house, all the kids school stuff, he's never woken up with a single kid in the night and yet there is nothing I can do right. He's always mad and I can't ever make him happy and it really is killing me. This song feels written for me.

I know it's a break up song but It reminds me of me and my moms relationship. Especially the part " it's like taking one step forward and two steps back. No matter what I do you're always mad." I relate to constantly wondering if it's worth it to have a relationship with her. Also the " I can't give you what you want and it's killing me". Like I'm never going to live up to her expectations.

I really like this video. I think the old saying "music can speak to you" really applies here. At it's core, the song is about acceptance, which can be a hard thing to grasp. I especially like how, at the beginning, they appear to be fighting in the house, whereas near the end, they're hugging. When I saw the window curtains rise up, it reminded me of bed sheets and the comfort they can bring, which I felt symbolized the comfort one finds in acceptance. Aside from that, I love the song. I rate them both a 9/10, but that's my personal taste/opinion.

Anyone can interpret this song and compare it to a relationship, but I resonate with it because it reminds me of the Toxic relationship I have with my Mother. I’ve spent all my life trying to please her but I’m never enough for her. I’m turning 24 soon and I believe it’s time to do something for myself , I will always be thankful for having a mother but i wish she would understand that i was meant for so much more than what she thinks of me.

My ex fiance has mental disorders that are all perspective based and this song sums up the reasons I had to finally leave her. It hurt because I know they were not her fault and she couldn't help it, but I just couldn't please her because of how her mind worked. Its been three years and I still cry when I hear this song. I really am sorry, Maggie, but it was just too much.

LYRICS It's never enough to say I'm sorry It's never enough to say I care But I'm caught between what you wanted from me And knowing if I give that to ya I might just disappear Nobody wins when everyone's losing It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad, and I, I can't change your mind It's like trying to turn around on a one-way street I can't give you what you want and it's killing me And I, I'm starting to see Maybe we're not meant to be It's never enough to say "I love you" No, it's never enough to say I try It's hard to believe that there's no way out for you and me It seems to be the story of our life Nobody wins when everyone's losing It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad, and I, I can't change your mind It's like trying to turn around on a one way street I can't give you what you want and it's killing me And I, I'm starting to see Maybe we're not meant to be There's still time to turn this around Should we be building this up instead of tearing it down? But I keep thinking maybe it's too late It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad, and I, I can't change your mind It's like trying to turn around on a one-way street I can't give you what you want and it's killing me And I, I finally see Baby we're not meant to be It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad, and I Baby I'm sorry to see Maybe we're not meant to be

@@littlebill9468 no, because winning is succeeding in life, (whatever success means to you), when everyone is losing(not succeeding) it’s not gonna make you win, you are just gonna all be losing together. It might give you a little sense of comfort but won’t make you succeed

Honestly a sad song. Yet very true. Last relationship I had was, well it seemed like it was, perfect. Seemed we both gave everything to be with each other and in the end, the past always wins. I don't understand why people can't leave their exes in the past. The present is what matters, not the past. Found this song to describe basically all the emotions I felt during the breakup, and still do.

When I was in high school I loved this song. My fiancé left me a week ago and somehow I stumbled across this song and this shit means so much more. The crazy thing is I relate to every word 100% i really am starting to see that it's no one's fault there's just too much going on that showed me maybe really not meant to be.

It's never enough to say I'm sorry It's never enough to say I care But I'm caught between what you wanted from me And knowing that if I give that to you I might just disappear Nobody wins when everyone's losing It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad And I, I can't change your mind I know it's like trying to turn around on a one way street I can't give you what you want And it's killing me And I, I'm starting to see Maybe we're not meant to be It's never enough to say I love you No, it's never enough to say I try It's hard to believe That's theres no way out for you and me And it seems to be the story of our lives Nobody wins when everyone's losing It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad And I, I can't change your mind I know it's like trying to turn around on a one way street I can't give you what you want And it's killing me And I, I'm starting to see Maybe we're not meant to be There's still time to turn this around You could be building this up instead of tearing it down But I keep thinking Maybe it's too late It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad And I, baby I'm sorry to see Maybe we're not meant to be

This song fits what has happened to my and now my ex.... He just couldn't leave his ex wife alone, i quit communicating and just left everything bottled up inside. Now matter how hard i tired or asked him to please stop, he never would. I even proposed to him after i found stuff out n now almost 2 years later its over.. I have vowed to myself i will never open up again. This one hurt more than anything. I still love him, but time will heal and just taking it one day at a time. My advice to couples please communicate and be honest with each other. 😥

Tiffany Wehr ... There is this girl Tara my best friend we both have had one faild marriage and we've been friends for well over 10 years and we both had a few failed relationships in between our marriages and we found our way to each other and I finally told her how I felt and she felt the same way I feel that she is my soulmate the love of my life I love her more than I love myself but there's an issue with her ex-boyfriend he still in the picture he lives at her mother's and I've called her in quite a few lies revolving him one good lie the day after announce to the world that we were engaged which was yesterday she claimed that she was in a hospital with her oldest daughter visiting her ex-husband's dying grandmother and I find out that that was a lie she was with the ex boyfriend at his mother's house I feel broken the trade disgusted and lost I have three kids that love her dearly she has two kids that love and adore mean her youngest daughter called me dad for the first time yesterday and I think that's the part that hurts the most but it's time to let go

For almost 2 years I had a gf once... we argued ALL THE TIME and after awhile it was becoming unbearable. She wasn't perfect either, but I always knew that she'd be there(even if she didn't want to) after it all though, this irl I REALLY like started to talk to me again because she needs advice on her BF, so I give the advice and say I'm always here, and I'm not gonna lie, she's always there when I need her too, and we argue but not everyday, we usually just walk and chill which is SOOOO RELAXING!!!! Even though I can't have her, I'm happy she's in my life at all, maybe I'll find someone I can trust and talk to like her one day... until that comes I'll enjoy being single with the freedom of advancing myself personally
