My old man met Glenn Hoddle not long after his appointment as England manager, at a services near Birmingham if I remember correctly! Dad didn't want to intrude but wished him well and all that, Hoddle, being the absolute gentleman he was/is said to have a seat as he was on his own! Dad said he was a fantastic bloke and they chatted about the good old days of football for a good 20 minutes! My dad is fairly elderly now and has some memory issues but after watching this for about an hour he comes out with 'I've met him'! Great episode guys, as always!

What a player! Use to hate him when I was young but that was only coz he was not on my team, absolute legend of the game ❤

They are taking in every word, Glenn knows the game better than anyone and can articulate exactly what he's seeing. Shame it didn't work out. An older Glenn with a little more man management savvy would do wonders.

The best episode yet and may be the best football talk show episode ever. I would have never watched football in my school years if it wasn't for Hoddle. For me he is the best European player ever after Cruyff. I imagined Johan Cruyff watching quietly sitting there and admiring Glen and Scholesie. So for me all three legends were there. May God bless and keep you. I will for sure watch this episode whenever I need a lifter upper.

My old football coach, at Rose Hill under 15s, Joe, would always say that if Mr Hoddle was Dutch, German, Spanish, Brazilian etc, he would have had a 100 plus England caps. Great player, and this was a great interview. Much thanks

Completely right in what he says about Tuchel being appointed. The nationality wouldn’t have been questioned if it was Klopp. Best guest so far, open and honest.

I am Liverpool supporter. When I was growing up Glenn Hoddle was my favourite English player. England did not build the team around Hoddle

Hoddle and Waddle. Genuinly two of the most talented manipulators of the ball (and of the opposition) I've seen. Recommend anyone to watch the highlights reels of Hoddle at Monanco and Waddle at Marseille. Gorgeous.

Why would you do that when you can see them at their best when they played at Spurs?🤔

I think the part where he said the FA should have someone to answer non footballing questions at press conference and all the talk of inexperience with the media was his and the shows way of tackling the question without actually tackling it.
