TikTok has been deemed a tool for the Chinese PLA as a data mining operation on a foreign adversary (the US). TikTok isn’t allowed in China, which should tell you something. Furthermore, Red Book is flagging American IP addresses so that all American traffic is placed on separate servers from IP addresses associated with mainland China.
