What a great idea, I love brown paper bags for crafting. Thanks for sharing Sonny, we love and rescue dogs, last one was #11 a 10 yo bloodhound. My first and last hound!!!!! The Great Dane is much easier :-) Poor Abby the Tabby has had to train all of them, she's now 16 years old. Left off as a tiny kitten down home at my parents house in the country.

Love this... as for butterflies I love them, my son has had a serious phobia of butterflies since he was four, he's nearly 30 and still not keen. So not everyone loves them, but I put them in loads of my journals. This video was perfect timing just have a pile of paper bags and wondering what to do with them. Thanks Pam, love your videos as always. Xx

Hi Pam. We don't have paper bags for groceries. There are some speciality shops that do, but they are not usually big. I found that the KFC bags just the right size and thinkness for a paper bag journal. The McDonald's bags are a bit thin, which makes them great for crumpling for faux leather. I love love love the paper edge punch. The leaves against the white is so striking.

Watching you put the rivets in gave me a thought...if you did the “straps” before doing anything on the inside, you could use Brads as your rivets and then covering the back of the brads on the inside with another piece of the paper bag before decorating. I may have to do this! LOL. Thanks, Pam!

Well I have to admit I talk with videos. Since none of my friends are Crafters, there's no one to bounce ideas off of. But sometimes I throw out a crafty comment while they're talking football just so I can see their expression.
