i have a REV9 with a ARM downpipe and i love the sound. its pretty loud on the outside when you are on it but quiet with the windows up. it has a pretty mean cold start note as well.

Great video! I really appreciate you going so in depth on your reasoning for going with the rev9 system and your experience with the install! I was curious if you have experienced any drone at 3k rpm cruising? My situation might be different as I have a downpipe but I don't wanna lose my mind on the freeway lol

Thank you very much for the kind words! I can say that I haven't noticed "drive you crazy" levels of drone at any point in the rev range. Only time it gets loud is when you come off the throttle and let the engine rev down slowly. I may be desensitized but it really isn't bad. I can't say how it'll be with a 3" downpipe though.

them power mods are useless without a tune thats where the power gains are at! i got a cobb tuner threw a stage one flash one her and just that alone with my intake and exhaust is a huge difference!!!

Taking a lot of interest in this but scared to have an an exhaust without a muffler as it’s illlegal

Rev9 has one with a muffler if that helps!

I doubt it would. No performance catback for MK6 GTIs list the CC as a fit as well.

I’ll actually most likely use the ARM Downpipe with an eventual switch to a full 3 inch turbo back system.
