The delicious sushi you ate actually Indonesia-style of sushi, bc those sushi have spicy mayonaise or crunchy tempura which japanese sushi dont. If you want to try authentic Indonesian food dont go to random street food, just go to the remboelan restaurant or sate senayan which are located in some malls. It's good and also hygiene

Try "Nasi Goreng Obama" on Menteng street - it's basically just 'reguler' nasi goreng, but since Barack Obama used to live there (in Menteng area) and ate the nasi goreng, the stool is now called Nasi Goreng Obama ... I think it's pretty cool to try what Obama used to eat when he was a kid 😁👍

Hi, thanks for visiting Jakarta, indonesia.. actually if you seeking for authentic indonesian restaurant in mall, or good place, u could go to "remboelan" restaurant.. or you can try street food in Grand Indonesia or Blok M, u can go there by using public transport like MRT or TransJakarta if you want to avoiding the traffic. Fyi, usually peak hour in Jakarta is around 7-10am and 3-7pm

Hi. If you want coffee, you should try the REAL coffee shop. Like Kopi Kenangan, or Kwang Koan. You should go to Pagi Sore to try padang cuisines.. And mix them with the rice. Many people eat them alone, and that would be too salty. You need to balance it with rice.
