For some reason, Idk why people keep saying every movie after Furious 7 is crappy but I liked all of them. When I watch any Fast and Furious movie, I go in with a mindset of having fun with car races, stunts, music and cool fight scenes. I don't try to find a lot of logical or story progression based faults from the movie because it is not what they are intended for.

for me it is just after F4/5 the premise changed. they were thieves using fast cars and stunts to steal. and now they work with the government and shadow organisations to safe the world and stuff. they are popcorn cinema, the movies entertain even though it does not make much sense anymore. i like them for what they are and i am entertained by them, i just have to shut of my brain.

I remember watching this in the movie theater and at the end everyone in the theater started cheering when we heard that unique sound of car engine coming up the road to the BBQ. only a Nissan Skyline GTR R34 sounds like that and we knew who drives Skyline's in this franchise

Cipher was talking abstracly about Yoda...she was talking outside the box, whereas Otto was being more literal, comparing himself to a character based upon ability. Cipher was also hinting that she had more power over him even when stuck in a box... you know it's interesting, i don't condone jacobs behaviour or actions at all...but i understand it...i have known several families that have children with issues like this...it's not uncommon. if you have 2 or more kids and you aren't careful about how you raise them they can easily become jealous or envious of each other...sometimes it's not even their fault entirely...it's in their DNA...passed on from a former family member. i wouldn't say selfish is the word...it's just...they have a deluded sense of reality...

The biggest negative point of this series is that they lead death ad absordum. The constant death of characters who then come back again and again has consequences. The viewer now goes to the cinema and knows that no one dies anyway and if someone really dies, the death scene is no longer taken seriously. This means that the impact that something like this should actually have is completely lost.

Once you've seen fast x and you know the main villan you can clearly hear the voice in hobbs and shaw. It's so obvious but the first time watching hobbs and shaw I didn't know for sure.
